Lots of time to work on the car, I take it?

/guy across the street from me, where I grew up, had an 80's Honda Civic.. (think that's what is was - and it was pretty new as this was back in early to mid 80's) and he quite literally worked on it more than he drove it.
//Nothing pisses a person off more than to get in their car, start it up, not quite make it to the end of the driveway before the car dies (won't start again AND driveway is slanted so no pushing it back), then get out to hear 5/6 kids across the street just laughin their farkin` asses off at you!!!!!

I had an '83 civic hatchback and it was great, never a problem and got over 40mpg, Drove it 15 years and I think it cost me about $5000 new.

Awesome. It had a circuit board, a 4MT button and Hypershiat. I always wanted Hypershift.

Looks like the hypershift controller does little more than actuate the turbo encabulator.  You can get the same performance by modifying the radius of the dingle arm.

The parents had an '82 Accord with a slush-o-matic 2 speed semi-automatic transmission. Replaced it with an '84 Chevy Citation. Ugh.
