Good that they recognized they might have a problem.
What was the final solution, then?

and half dress like this:

And the preschool teacher takes notes on their behavior.

I bought a sweater from Kohl's a few years ago. Love the thing. Then maybe a year ago I looked at the buttons and they had swastikas on them. Blew my mind.

So long as they don't have clearance. They're still talking about the one from 1492.

The swastika proper is, was, and remains a symbol of tolerance and peace. The Nazis reversed their symbol, in more ways than one.

Surely you mean svastika?

Because it's history runs deep and has far less to do with German fascists than you may think...

Would concur it's about time to let it go... except the fascists and farktards won't...

I know, right? It was only the Holocaust - the systematic murder of millions of people. It's like some people think it was a really big deal we should be mindful of or something! How stupid, right? They should just get over it. It isn't like dozens of my family members were slaughtered like animals in it or anything. We should totally trivialize it until no one really thinks it was a big deal. That seems wise.

I am so fed up with constant stories about outrage that always stem from a few people on twitter harping on about a bunch of bullshiat. It seems it's the only thing twitter is used for these days. Spreading outrage to generate pointless 'news' articles.

Dear Buying Staff,

It has come to our attention that you're on a roll.  Swastikas on hand bags?  Yellow Stars of David over striped casual wear?  Unacceptable, simply unacceptable.  Either find a source for some innocuous play togs or at least a source that doesn't bludgeon you with the racist hatred.

That's two strikes, people.  Three and you're off to the Eastern Front.

Yours truly,

Upper Management Team at Zara -- the Final Solution for Kiddie Wear.

Swastika (Buddhist, counterclockwise) or a hakenkreuz (Nazi, clockwise)?

That stripe/star combo does look pretty bad from a distance.  Doesn't seem like it was intentional however when you see the word sheriff on it.

correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the stripes on Concentration camp uniforms go vertical and not horizontal?  And that "star" is gold not yellow and looks nothing like a star of david.

You really have to squint hard to be outraged by this

Well, it's not like we're splitting copyright or trademark laws here.
It's more like wearing a feathered headdress.
It doesn't have to be an actual replica of a specific Native Nation to be offensive if worn in mockery or drunken shenanigans.

It's hard to believe that people actually  looked at that design pre production without noticing the resemblance to a nazi concentration camp uniform.

The retailer might be big on Spanish history. Francisco Franco won the Spanish Civil War with Hitler's help.
