How can you even say massive when the linked article (which i suspected might actually have pics says "The news agency gave no details about the size of the field nor did it say what authorities did in response to its discovery. ")

American pot plantations so small.

Chinese pot plantations so incredibly large.

This is what happens with globalization: the Chinese are stealing both our grow operation jobs and our narc jobs.

When your grow op gets seen from space, you've really done something special.

Massive just isn't quite descriptive enough for me, subby.  How many Rhode Islands is it?

Eww...an autoplay video that actually waits for me to switch to the tab before it goes?

Then, I look, and no pics.  Hrm, well, lets see, *pauses adblock*.

OH DEAR GOD WHY DID I DO THAT!?  FOUR AUTOPLAY VIDEO COMMERCIALS!  unskippable, un-pausable, and the pics weren't even relevant.

/For shame, IBT and subby.
//For shame.

And, I've found another site to join Buzzfeed and Business Insider in my DNS blackhole.

At least it waited for you instead of suddenly chattering among the 5 tabs you just opened. A polite asshole, you might say.

The news agency gave no details about the size of the field nor did it say what authorities did in response to its discovery.

Oh. Ok then, we'll just take your word for it. State run news agencies have no reason to lie about anything, they just want to inform the people. This certainly isn't a boldface headline grabber just for the sake of grabbing a headline with no supporting contextual information.

As an aside, the world's smallest diamond mine is in my backyard. I will be a millionaire soon. No, you can't see it and my camera batteries died before I could take any pictures and my cellphone camera doesn't work but seriously you guys, diamond mine.

Pretending that people involved in the drug trade aren't often times horrible monsters is stupid. Pretending that cops are always good is stupid, too. But you didn't do that. You did the first thing.

Also, subby?

"A Chinese satellite has spotted the country's biggest ever marijuana plantation as well as dozens of illegal cross-border paths, state media reported on Monday. "

They found a plantation AND found border paths. Not all in one.

Also that pic from, assuming here, a helicopter with another helicopter in the pic was not the satellite image China was talking about.

Way to read.

You do realize that these kinds of raids is what makes people involved in the drug trade resort to extreme measures, right?

There's plenty of violence due to competition between growers/traffickers. See Mexico.

Of course that's because everything is underground.

Just look at the difference between the violence associated with alcohol production and distribution during prohibition and 10 years after prohibition was lifted.
