The real question is why is Corpsebart trying to undermine RAND PAUL by repeatedly drawing attention to instances of him agreeing with 0bozo the Kenyan Usurper.

*sigh*

dugitman: never read the comments. never read the comments. never read the comments.

Ooops. I should read the comments here first. For anyone wanting to read TFA and avoid TFComments, I'm taking one for the team:

On Saturday, President Barack Obama reportedly ordered a federal review of the increasing militarization of local police forces after Ferguson, Missouri erupted in rioting and looting after Michael Brown's death.

Reuters reported that the "review will be led by White House staff including the Domestic Policy Council, the National Security Council, the Office of Management and Budget, and relevant U.S. agencies including the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and Treasury, and it will be carried out in coordination with Congress."
After acknowledging that local police forces must "get proper equipment to deal with threats that historically wouldn't arise in local communities," Obama indicated at a Monday press conference that there would still be "some bipartisan interest in re-examining some of those programs," as Breitbart News reported.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has also come out against subsidizing excessive militarization of local police forces, writing in a Time op-ed that "Americans must never sacrifice their liberty for an illusive and dangerous, or false, security."
Paul said that the "the images and scenes we continue to see in Ferguson resemble war more than traditional police action" and said that when "you couple this militarization of law enforcement with an erosion of civil liberties and due process that allows the police to become judge and jury-national security letters, no-knock searches, broad general warrants, pre-conviction forfeiture-we begin to have a very serious problem on our hands."
"The militarization of our law enforcement is due to an unprecedented expansion of government power in this realm," Paul wrote. "It is one thing for federal officials to work in conjunction with local authorities to reduce or solve crime. It is quite another for them to subsidize it."
On Monday, Obama said "one of the great things about the United States has been our ability to maintain a distinction between our military and domestic law enforcement."
"That helps preserve our civil liberties. That helps ensure that the military is accountable to civilian direction. And that has to be preserved," Obama said.

"some bipartisan interest in re-examining some of those programs,"

Militarization of Police Forces across the country *should* be an issue with relatively broad bipartisan support.

After some reflexive cheering of another dead black man in Ferguson that fact had to sink in at some point and so it has.

Deadbart is merely noting here that Obama's actions post Ferguson ie the review thingy align somewhat with Rand Paul's rhetoric to date.

More even handed than their regular derp but hardly anything worth cheering about.

One should also note that the idea of even handedness completely ends at the point where the article stops and the comments begin.

Not for the faint of heart, those.

Are you kidding? The comments are the best part!

DHS is ready and willing to kill all white people at the whim of Pezident Oslama. Blacks be left alone by DHS, and force the local police to stand down allowing blacky to loot and burn.!.!

Hey everybody, this is Obozo the clown, and I'm doing a nothing pivot on this again. Look, let me be clear, I said the cops acted stupidly way before I knew what had happened. I believed the race pimps lies too, say's the clown. The Post Office, HHS, IRS, and Dept of Education need tanks, hollow points by the multi billions and posse comiitatus is a tea party ideal. And the Obama junta continues..

Watch out, you KNOW what the boy plans. He wants to INCREASE any such militarization but now place it under HIS control. And/Or arrange for his hate based, thug, lynch mob/party to have more control over ALL police!

Obama is a fool! What happened to the Chicago way? This OAF of a President is a fool pandering to other fools! We need to give the police all the fire power they need and just not the "SWAT TEAM". The bad guys had them first. This is why we needed to arm our law enforcement with these high powered weapons. OBAMA hates all law enforcement, accept Eric Holder his butt boy. This administration is a JOKE!

a couple 1000 MS-13's should help calm things down in Chicago And their schools will only improve with the addition of illiterate & diseased illegal aliens

The great and powerful ooze is " REVIEWING " ooh ooh , he's always reviewing,considering , formulating , waiting , golfing, watching , dribbling ,teeing , drawing , fundraising , drafting , rainbowing , putting or c h oo m i n g but actually "DOING " not so much .

hey Obama.... YOUR ADMINISTRATION GAVE THESE ARMORED TANKS AN ARMS to the state and local police .... my god this guy is a sociopath............ the american people are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid .... this F'in guy is the anti Christ ....no other explanation

Want to bet the report is already written by some of George Soros's minions? We will not like it.

Num nuts in cheef!!

You gotsta be jokin'! The Milk Chocolate mESSIAH is giving the shyte away to pig patrols with powdered sugar on their faces and jelly on their fingers. These military goodies are for patriot hunting.

Will you swear an oath the Barry the Magnificent? Yes = po po for life. No = fired on the spot.

The man with the single largest cache of weapons in the history of man at his disposal (now that IS a scary thought) wants to know why a local police force is "militarized". Maybe he just came to an epiphany. Maybe they could hold off the feds in a civil war...

Ferguson was a false flag operation, along with Boston, Sandy Hook, the navy yard shooting, LAX, etc.

All Barry did was read words of the teleprompter that some commie college girl/intern wrote

It would also help if giant 'teenagers' would learn to obey instructions from police, instead of shoplifting, intimidating store clerks and behaving like insanely violent punks.

This is a funny headline. Guffaw, Guffaw, Chortle, Chortle. About the only thing HO orders is cold beer, cheeseburgers, queer sex without the inquiring eyes of the Secret Service, and plenty of methyl-dimethyl methamphetamine. Yep, good ole MDMA. Take a look at the WH visitor list. You will not see the the name William Goodwin. Goodie BRO has visited the WH 84 times since second inaugural. Good BRO is the dealer. Promise.

So Obama is not content simply disarming the populace, he's now also started disarming the police, so no one can resist him in 2016 when simple voting fraud isn't enough to keep his regime in power.

I'll bite.

I stated that I live in a reality-based world. My experience in reading what passes for 'news' in these right-wing propaganda hit pieces is little more than pablum for an infantile and willfully ignorant audience. There is an adequate number of farktards that parrot the lame talking points that these publications spew. There are also plenty of legitimate news sources quoting the lies and derp coming from the above-mentioned websites.

Even if this story was a unique 'fair & balanced' perspective emanating from angrydeadguy.com, it would be so out of character and so criticized by those it serves, that it would have little or no meaning. If you are implying that I only listen to news sources that share my views, you couldn't be more wrong.

In conclusion, I don't have to know if you stick your hand in a beehive you will get stung. I do not need to shove my nose in a bucket of crap to know it stinks.

So exactly what was the point in your comment again?

Just to be clear, you are saying that you would not read any "Brietbart, American Thinker, Townhall, World News Daily or Washington Times" link because others already parrot the same material and therefore you don't need multiple counts of exposure, right? Not trolling, I just want to be clear on your argument. :-)

I have 'no argument'. To be 100% crystal clear, and I'm really hoping we are not going to engage in semantic vs. pedantic discussion... BUT I rarely, if ever give any of the aforementioned websites the benefit of a click. (I am unable to give you the number within a hundredth of one percent) I am not saying 'never, ever, ever' 'not once' 'I have never on any single occasion' because yes, OCCASIONALLY I have read the TFA. As in the same manner of driving past a bloody, gory horrific traffic mutilation; I want to take a peek. I worked in a trauma ER for over 20 years, and have really seen more farked-up mutilation than most humans could EVER wrap their minds around. But if it will help your worldview understanding, I will further reiterate, that the websites I mentioned are really indicative of the 'bottom of the barrel' in political punditry. I'm talking about the fettered pustules of decomposing fecal matter that stubbornly clings to the bottom of said barrel. I trust I have provided you with clarification on my position regarding what passes for 'news' in regards to the websites I mentioned.

I apologize in advance for my shortcomings, and if I did not extrapolate an acceptable frame of reference.

I think that in complete confidence, I can assure you that when I tell you that I do not read American Thinker, Townhall, Brietbart, World New Daily, or Washington Times links, that I would rather be eaten by a tiger than to consider myself a member of their readership or as a subscriber.

It isn't just "fear".

It is utter, abject terror at the thought that they might be wrong. It is pretty much like when Fonzi couldn't say he was wrong. He couldn't say that word at all. He was psychologically incapable of it. These folks would rather live in mud huts with 100 year mortgages on them than admit that all those white-haired "good, decent Christian gentlemen" politicians are lying to them and robbing them blind.

There's a reason why the most profitable real-estate and securities scams are run through churches. Theres a reason why the regular folks who dedicate themselves to those institutions are so easily taken to the cleaners by their fellow parishioners. Somehow, successfully being recognized as a "christian" by ones peers automatically makes one above reproach or question.

Until one gets caught of course. Then they all act shocked, stunned, horrified and bemused at the thought that someone within their own ranks, that they put their total trust and blind faith in, ran away with their $18 Million.

"But he told us it was to build churches to help feed starving blind children in Africa!"

It happens over, and over, and over, and over and none of these imbeciles seem to get the picture of why it does so, so often to them.

They do not have the psychology to ever conceptualize "wrong" within themselves.
