They may be sick, deranged, twisted, sorry excuses for carbon-based life forms, but they're not crazy.

2014-08-23 04:12:44 PM
Am I reading this wrong? It sounds like the comedian was the one who reneged.

My pastor says that robin williams done died early because he dressed like a woman and made the sex with men and spent to much time in Hollywood making violence and bad films to make money instead of praising Him. He says that when The Lord calls a sheep the sheep goes even if the sheep has been making the sex with other sheep who are boys and robin williams was called and now he's with The Lord and will have to answer just like I will had to answer after I did that thing to that girl on that retreat and everybody got real mad and now I can't wear scarfs or belts no more unless they're made of something real breakable like. That's what my pastor says.

We're talking about them so mission accomplished.

Mugato: Am I reading this wrong? It sounds like the comedian was the one who reneged.

No, you are right. Subby lied in his headline to get the greenlight. Schadenfreude  sells better than the truth.

/That would have been so awesome if they had gone and only then discovered that the tickets were one-way.

Among other places, WBC is planning to protest at Michael Brown's funeral in St Louis on the 25th and at the 9/11 Memorial/Museum in NYC on 9/11.

Should they show up, I suspect they will have an exciting couple of days.

So the comedian backed out? No problem. Kickstarter anyone?

2014-08-23 04:54:14 PM
Those cowardly assholes won't go anyplace where they can't sue if they get what they so richly deserve

2014-08-23 04:54:24 PM

show me: That would have been so awesome if they had gone and only then discovered that the tickets were one-way.

If they started running their mouth like they do here it would have been one way.

Kind of shiatty to take donations and then just give it to some charity. I mean I'm sure it's a fine charity but that's what they donated for.

/just a publicity stunt anyway
//it worked, I know who the guy is now
///already forgot

That is correct. The WBC still wants to go.

Can they both lose? That would be best.

2014-08-23 04:58:45 PM
WBC would have backed out anyway, or if they did go just stay in their hotel.

2014-08-23 04:58:59 PM
This would be an awesome kickstarter.

Heck we could probably raise enough money for them to take a private corporate jet and make stops in North Korea, Indonesia, Burma, Syria, Somalia, and have the tour stop in Mosul.

2014-08-23 04:59:42 PM
Either way, I don't think the comedian wanted to take part in murder.

2014-08-23 05:00:37 PM
they probably would have blamed not going on the ebola

Rosyna: Either way, I don't think the comedian wanted to take part in murder.

I think it's more that he realized he was giving them loads of attention, which is their sole nourishment.

2014-08-23 05:04:43 PM
They're so well known they have their own acronym? Dang.

2014-08-23 05:04:46 PM
So it seems like we need to crowed fund this project if all we need to do is raise the money for tickets. I bet within a couple days we could fly every member to Iraq first class with how much would be donated though i would kind of like video of the out come of there protest set to Yakaty Sax.

Murder? It was assisted suicide.

2014-08-23 05:09:02 PM
I'm still thinking they will film out in the New Mexico desert, get some members to dress up like militants, talk in made up Arabic, and say they went and survived. It'd kind look like:

Just think if they nabbed a few WBC members and lopped off their heads on the intertoobs?  I don't support the senseless murder of innocent of lives, but I don't think I'd lose much sleep if it were them either way.
/not that their innocent of too much these days

They won't go to the 9/11 Memorial because there's too many cops, judges, and goverment officials to piss off, and their victories in the USSC won't mean shiat.

Mugato: Am I reading this wrong? It sounds like the comedian was the one who reneged.

TFA was vague about that. The way I read it, they accepted and then spent a week arguing with him about it until he gave up and donated money to charity instead.

Conjecture: probably they tried to make ridiculous demands so that they could torpedo the thing intentionally because they never intended to actually follow through. That way they could *say* they accepted, and claim to have done so in good faith, but be lying so they don't die from gunfire and neck-sawing.

That's how I read it. How about Fark thakes up donations to send WBC to Iraq instead?

You know what would really kick ass as a new rule for fark?

No WBC stories. Ever.

Yeah, I'm sure the WBC checks Fark daily to see if they're mentioned.

The fact that bullets fly daily in America killing adults, kids and even babies while not one of those bullets has ever found its way to WBC is proof there is no God.

Know how to make them stop? Ignore them. They are attention whores, that is what motivates them.

I used to flip them the bird on the streets of Topeka whenever I passed by one of their stupid roadside pickets back in the early 90's.  So at least there's that.  I always wanted to go throw things at them, but my father insisted I refrain because "they'll sue the shiat out of me, son."

My first questino upon reading headline - Why would the World Boxing Council want to go to Iraq?

2014-08-23 06:42:13 PM
I'll say it again.

Westboro is like the Kardashians. They are only famous (infamous??) for being famous.  They are tiny (25-50 parishioners) and have no influence.  If people didn't talk about them, they wouldn't exist. They are a creation of the media for click-bait.
