I like everything about this. There's drama, narcissism, and a about a .0000001% chance that a ton of money is going to be given to charity, which means double humiliation.

I'm a little lost as to how I should regard this.

It's so white-trash rednecky...but the participants are not. And I don't think ghetto applies either.

I feel like it needs an applicator more powerful than "the stupidest shiat I will hear about all month", but I can't come up with anything.

Suggestions?

Half dollar better save that money unless he can find another dude to write his lyrics. The first guy died in a car crash a couple years ago.

I dunno, that might be a good comeback to someone who *isn't* worth somewhere in the region of a couple hundred million dolars.  He owned a 5% stake in Vitamin Water which was purchased by Coca-Cola for $4.1 BILLION.

According to http://www.celebritynetworth.com/ they're both worth about $1/4 billion each.

Floyd's been taking public shots on Fifty for the last few years, so I'm not surprised Fifty finally got fed up. If Floyd was a leader, he'd launch a campaign to fight illiteracy. Lord knows he has the resources. But he's no leader... he's just a bully. And it's hard to feel bad when a bully gets picked on.

I would like to see them duke it out for 3 mins, then maybe take a quick break before another 3 mind of fighting.

After a few repetitions of that, perhaps we can judge who is the winner?

And a reading contest, so everyone had a chance to be a winner. Then we can give out trophies, and have punch and pie.

Um, no.  He has successfully co-opted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge into a platform to insult and demean someone he doesn't like, while sidestepping the challenge himself.  Additionally, he took the primary focus of the Challenge (ALS) and attempted to split the awareness in a negative fashion towards another charity.

He should've donated a sum to ALS, then tweeted out this inane rivalry crap.

No he understands the ice bucket challenge. He just doesn't give a fark about it and would rather fark with Floyd. Hence the "fark this ice" comment and throwing the bucket away. Dismissing a concept isn't misunderstanding it.

Dyslexia doesn't mean you can't read, SFC. It just means it takes more effort than it does for someone else. Do you want to stop teaching math to girls because they've historically performed lesser than boys?

I am dyslexic, i am 45, my mother is dyslexic, she is 65, we both were diagnosed 5 years ago.

We both can read and write extremely well.  The doctor who diagnosed us said that we never had many problems because when we were younger it was never a thing, so we were made to work harder and developed because of it.  He told us older dyslexics did not have the same skills gaps as younger ones because we were never coddled.

My aunts and uncles and grandparents taught me to read and write starting at age 3, same with my mother, so we were able to work around it.

Okay, I wouldn't expect an aged boxer to be able to read aloud for a whole page.

Actually, have you read a page of novel text aloud? It can be serious multitasking. When you record audio the paper gets a ton of whitespace.

Plus, who sat down with him before the reading and said punch this word, pause here, etc? The guy was reading absolutely cold. Anyone would have stopped after "joined the show".

He got better quick.
