Although at least he didn't try to do the thing where he claims the kid did it all by herself.

So parents should not do things with their kids now?

Yes but then they're stinking up our water.

I've wanted to do this, but I was never able to get a straight answer on whether or not I need to notify the FAA. Another difficulty is I live entirely too close to Mexico, and worry about it crossing the border.

In this thread, socially awkward geeks who post on Fark rag on other socially awkward geeks who like a cartoon, and somehow think they're superior for it.

Despite the idiotic headline here, what the people in the article doing is actually kind of awesome.  its almost as if they have better things to do than whine about cartoons on the internet.

Just because something's been done before, doesn't mean it isn't worth doing again.  There's much worse hobbies to have, like, say, tearing down other people's achievements on the internet just to be snide and act superior.

And its STILL awesome.

No one in this thread was talking about pedophilia until you showed up.  that says a lot more about you than about anyone else posting here.

Or does high-atmospheric balloons and cartoon ponies somehow just make you think of sex with children?

Well, given the qualifications you hold to be valid, I've discovered Madagascar, the source of the Nile, flight, scarlet fever...

Actually, this list may take a while so maybe you should grab a cup of tea... which I was also responsible for, by the way.

Lol, you have to be what, 15?  And I suppose that given you watched someone run a marathon on TV, you've run one too?

Sorry, little boy, grump about the sour grapes all you want, that father and daughter still accomplished much more than you.

Lol, real life isn't high school, kid.  No one cares about your weak attempts at snark.

If you really want to prove that your side of the argument has some merit, then get off the internet and do something as worthwhile as that michigan father and daughter did.  If you're capable of it, that is.

The only really interesting thing about the Bronies is the psychology of the people who hate them.

Um, no... Sub-orbital altitude at best.

Really high up there is not the same as "space"

I'm interested in both sides of this equation.  I'll admit I don't "get" the whole Brony thing, and find the idea of grown men playing with toys made for 11-year-old girls (like the one in this article) more than a bit puzzling.  But "hate"?  Nah.  In my opinion, though, these threads seem to attract people who come across as seeking validation while insisting otherwise.

And the other side's "Stop liking what I don't like" is even more anti-social.

If so, that's going too far.

Do we mean "space" as in extremely low to no atmospheres of pressure? Or, "space" as in planetary escape? Or, "space" as in interstellar/cosmic rays?
