Does it make a beeping sound when you back up? That would be pretty cool.

Ebay has a lot of 20 used for $4500 which runs about $225 each. Google "cost of electric shopping cart" and Wiki starts with what the felony price is in various states. FL $2500, SC $2000. This article puts NM at $1800. Carts have no new prices. You must request a quote. For a gadget that tops out at 2 mph, you could outrun a sleeping cop most days. And watch out for dogs that want to pee on your tires, it could short the whole thing out.

You know, the sad thing is that he didn't even  need to steal one.  Medicare was handing these things out like Obama-phones

"I said I didn't need it," witness Heriberto Cortez, 73, testified on the stand. Cortez was recalling the day when a stranger - allegedly one of Fadojutimi's patient recruiters - came to his house and offered him a wheelchair. He said no. She didn't listen."She insisted," Cortez said. "She said that they were giving the chairs away."

What a bastard. After my accident and I was on crutches for 3 months, I needed that motorized cart. After going the distance on crutches to get to Trader Joe's, besides muscles being tired, it would have been very awkward to try to put items into the shoulder bag while still balancing my weight on crutches. Damn loser dumbshiat saw nothing wrong with stealing the cart.

"...it could have been used by those who needed it more than this man,"
APD spokesman Tanner Tixier said."

Have they SEEN the sorts of people who really use them?
