I love how wrestlers are given like random ethnicities based off their skin color and whatever country the league needed as a villain at the time

Or heroes.  Terry Bollea was given the last name Hogan to endear him to the Irish community in NY after they had success with Sanmartino and Perdo Morales.

But yeah, wrestling uses the evil foreigner character all the time (see: Rusev).

Santino was also made an Italian character so they could pull off the Milan Miracle story.  It suck with him for his entire career.

There is a current wrestler named Kofi Kingston who is from Ghana but was billed as Jamaican. I think hes back to being Ghanaian now.

I can totally understand that.  I like the Milan Miracle character and really liked him as their comedy act.  The character did run out of stream by the end.  And he probably had too many title reigns for a midcard comedy act.

The fact that Sting got off easy never sits well with me.  I'm guessing if he had to do it all over again he still would've said no to Vince because...you know, Vince is an ass.

Going off topic, but with Sting, Hogan and Flair jumping ship (again), not to mention the departure of AJ a few months back, things are not looking good.

Do you think Vince now has the power and clout to force a buy-out?

Dixie has stated that she will not sell unless if WWE uses her on television as part of the purchase. Vince looked interested at first before Hogan left, but everyone agrees he would never agree to those terms. He knows he can wait for desperation to set in. ROH is more than happy to get the wrestlers that they are dropping every month.

It also set back Kurt Angle's involvement with pro wrestling for a while.

He happened to be in attendance that night, because ECW was courting him. One crucifixion later, Kurt walks out pissed.
