Everywhere you look, you could write a book, about trouble between Syria and Iran, the US could impose, where we stuck our nose, into wars we don't understand, but still you wonder, who's bombing who, who's being screwed, who don't even care anymore, who'shiat tonight, in a surgical strike, and where carriers are parked off show.

Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who

I'm still not sure if the US bombing more brown people is a good idea or a bad one anymore.

It's pretty much impossible to care.

I just want to point out that the Mig21 in the picture is probably just a stock photo.  News companies should be required to let the consumer know when they are using stock pics, because often times people draw false conclusions based on them.  This is how conspiracy theories are born.

Looking at the picture of the MiG, I was going to say that it's nice to see some museum pieces are still being flown to show today's kids what it was like back in the old days.  What's next, "Now, as promised, we'll be strafed by a couple MiG 17's. Make sure to have your cameras ready!"

You have to buy them off their landlocked sub fleet.  Just open the screen door and go on in.

CruJones: They don't have planes that can fly at night?  WTF?

That's why our aircraft are never challenged by these countries. Because it's dark, or it's too windy, or the pilot doesn't feel too good, or the plane won't start, etc.

CruJones: They don't have planes that can fly at night?  WTF?

Well, in a very technical sense, I'm sure all of their planes are capable flight regardless of the time of day, but their ability to navigate over unlit desert or engage enemies in the air or on the ground is probably limited to daylight hours due to a lack of the electronics packages that more modern air forces use to get around the need for visual navigation and target acquisition.

And depending on the state of their airfields, landing at night might suck immensely as well.

And their navy has missiles that can only fire directly in front of them, so they all get on line and fire at the same time to hopefully hit something. Pretty much every North African country has a shiat Airforce. The closest an Egyptian bomber has ever gotten to it's target is 50 meters.

/slightly exaggerating that last claim
