rooftop235: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvUZijEuNDQI Lost on Jeopardy, with cameo by Don Pardo.+1 for the headline, Subby.
LessO2: Even though Pardo was known best for SNL, I remember when he was the live announcer (and on-camera) for Channel 4 New York's Live at Five newscast.
Daedalus27: So does this death count as the 3rd celebrity to complete this cycle? Williams, Bacall, Pardo or did I miss one before Williams?
germ78: He was the slime from the video, oozing around on the living room floor./RIP announcer-man
Bathia_Mapes: I remember him on the original "Jeopardy" when Art Fleming was still the host.
Recoil Therapy: A voice for the ages, one that had been around since essentially the start of television. Amazing.96's a good run, RIP Don
OtherLittleGuy: True dat. And still announcing for SNL.

Upon his induction into the Rhode Island Radio Hall of Fame on May 14, 2009, Pardo suggested that the May 16, 2009, episode of Saturday Night Live would be his last.He did subsequently return for the show's 35th season. Starting with the 36th season, Pardo once again began pre-recording his parts from his home in Arizona instead of performing live in New York City.
