That was an insane amount of hurt packed into one five minute video.

Given the insane amount of talent out there it was only a matter of time before an insane amount of talent got together to show the insane amount of talent it takes to do something like this.

Just skip to 2:19 to see the successful triple flip made. To be fearless and young again. Those motherfarkers kept attempting that flip like they had premium insurance to cover them.

The one thing about being in FL that I miss from up north is hitting mountain bike trails.

Looks like Drew got someone to tweak the filter. That would normally be filtered to ishiatting.

Yeah, that was my problem.  Fearlessness and youth led to all the pain I am in now that I have turned 53.

They'll feel it later.  Trust me.

The end of this week Cam Zink is attempting his world record 100 foot gap to gap backflip. That is going to be sick, also Brandon Semenuk being the first triple crown Rebull Joyride champ and Redbull Rampage is coming up!! My favorite event of the year.

Big year in mountain biking.

BMX bikes are definitely easier.  It takes little effort to whip those 20' wheels around. Yeah, doing this on a full size mountain bike is big.

As someone that can flip both (and double into a foampit) it's not that much harder to backflip a mountain bike as a BMX bike. Front flips are WAY harder on a mountain though.

Only if it has a basket, a bell that rings, and things to make it look good.

I remember when I was a kid and had a hundred acres, a bulldozer, a water truck and a thousand dollars worth of wood.  Na my dad said if I didn't keep my hands on the bars and my butt in the seat he would lock my bike up.  Ask me about my skateboard.  Good times.

Triple backflip? Yawn. I would've done a quad. Pussies.

I cannot back flip a mountain bike. I can back flip a BMX into a lake off a launch ramp. I did it all day one weekend last month. Front flips are killers. Would never even attempt it. I mainly ride DH/FR and I throw in some XC for the cardio.

I am also 40. Funny thing is 85% of the guys I see on the trails now are in their 40's and I met a 71 year old guy last week that could shred. I think it might because Mountain Bikes are almost as expensive as cars these days. I know I paid almost 5K for my Enduro and about 2K for my XC. Why yes, Iam very loyal to Trek.

There are a couple in central FL in old quarries, not the same, but better then pedaling on sandy trails.
