...or ya could, you know, like, legalize the real stuff instead of creating a highly restrictive police state. But whatever. As long as drug dealers can donate to politicians through SuperPACs, their competition can be crushed easily.

Politicians need to get their heads outta the Dark Side and admit the lies.

shiat, I don't even need them to admit the lies. Just stop these particular ones. People are gonna smoke the weed. Drive it underground to the black market or disinfect it with sunshine. Either way, people are going to get high.

Lots of people in CO still end up in the ER for synthetic pot. They're either worried that they'll get tested for their job or tested because of some legal status. So long as you keep needlessly testing people to see if they got high last week, you're going to have to deal with this bullshiat.

I disagree, respectfully.
It is a LIE! A racially and profit motivated LIE.

Now, just why the fark can no one stand up and say that?

Can we just legalize the shiat so i don't have to read through anymore histrionic threads about the real injustice middle class white people face?

Even S. Gupta fell back on a secondary lie, "Well, new information has come to light that "may" change some things."

The problem isn't the middle class honkies. It's the thousands murdered to support the black market and rampant mistreatment of minorities.

Can we please stop calling it "synthetic marijuana"?

It has nothing to do with marijuana and the effects are nothing like marijuana.

Also, WTF is wrong with kids today?  I remember seeing ads for legal highs in High Times magazine in the '80s.  It probably isn't the same as the shiat they sell today but everyone I knew including myself quickly came to the conclusion that if these herbs they were selling really got you high they would be popular.

I bought some once. I was fine but it gave my friends paranoia. Also it didnt get us high at all.

The FDA just put an import ban on Kratom, I imagine Salvia is being worked on.

Get it while you can.

If a white guy buys pot from a white guy who grows pot, how is that racist?

Simply put, the Internet can inundate you with facts until you could make Ken Jennings look like a McDonald's clerk, but it can't give you the human interactive experience needed to gain any semblance of common sense.

Haven't all the libertarians been moving to New Hampshire? How have they NOT legalized marijuana yet?

None of the overdose incidents had been fatal so far and Manchester police reported on Wednesday that they have found the drug in three convenience stores whose business licenses were now revoked.

what am i missing here? the popo can revoke business licenses?

... has prompted Gov. Maggie Hassan to declare a state of emergency on Thursday which authorizes public health officials to investigate stores as the marijuana-like product is sold as potpourri in convenience stores and to quarantine drugs that that they find.

the confiscation w/o due process may be iffy but nothing was said about revoking business licenses. live free or die may ass.

For those who are too high to click the link that you provided a few posts down, the short answer is yes. Anyone over the age of 21, regardless of residency or citizenship, may legally possess cannabis in Washington state.

I don't think that's what they were selling in those old HT issues, but I do realize that Salvia is real and legal.  It's also something I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

There's also a reason why salvia isn't more popular and they haven't gotten around to making it illegal, much the same way there are other things that will get you farked up and are still legal but most people don't do them (like jimsonweed or spray paint).

The highs are really bad and in some cases potentially dangerous.

Arkanaut: Haven't all the libertarians been moving to New Hampshire? How have they NOT legalized marijuana yet?

We've come very close to decriminalization with a super-majority in the house and then our senate refusing to take it up.  They likely didn't want to waste their time since Gov. Hassan has vowed to veto any such legislation the minute it crosses her desk anyway.  It's the one issue both the "think of the children" Democrats and the authoritarian "Devil weed" Republicans seem to agree on.

By common sense, do you mean the belief that anecdotes are the same as data?

Spice is floor sweepings as far as I'm concerned.

Salvia's pretty good, actually.  I can see why some people don't like it, but it's not universally bad like jimsonweed or spray paint.

No it's not. It's a 30 second case of psychotic vertigo.  It doesn't induce euphoria, it's a terrible hallucinogen, and it's only saving grace is high schoolers can buy it over the internet.
