What they don't tell you is, conflict of interest rules prevent you from eating any chocolate until you finish your PhD. If you lose your will to live, that could take a while.

Doctor of Chocolate? If that's not a porn star name it should be.

Laugh all you like, but I know someone who IS a doctor of chocolate.  Well, I'm not sure what the exact title is, but he's on the faculty of the university in the department of food sciences.  The interesting thing is that there's actually quite a lot of work to be done in the field.  Counterfeit chocolate (chocolate that claims to be sourced and/or made in one place but is actually a cheap import from someplace else) is a really big problem in the industry, and my friend gets called to investigate, consult, and even testify in court about his findings.  Not just in the US, either.  He gets sent all around the world for this work.

Interesting work if you can get it.  But it does require a lot of study in a surprisingly diverse collection of fields, so it's not a sinecure by any means.

Doctors of Chocolate are why all the white people are so healthy. I'm educated, see, that's why I know this.

I went to the theme park there when I was a little squirt.

I know a chick that has a PHd in glass. That's it, glass. She can do cool stuff(I'm going to get to play with an electron microscope and a 3D printer), but that's pretty much the unsexy term that goes with her degree.

On another note, YOUR guy could calculate the speed of light.

That's not counterfeit chocolate. Counterfeit chocolate is when Hershey tries to pass off "chocolate" with no actual chocolate in it.

Came here to say this.  Possible contender for lead role:

In other news, David Tennant is in hiding from large masses of fans holding edible chocolate body paint.
