It really ended the movie in a good, fun way.

HST's Dead Carcass: It really ended the movie in a good, fun way.

It did, and I got to say, that GotG was the most fun I've had at the movies as of late. It was just fun. The Howard the Duck cameo...that was less expected, but who knows, he might be able to make it into the Doctor Strange movie too...

It was the post-credits scene.

Also, during the main scene with The Collector, if you look at the right spot, you can see him.

Yuppo, dancing baby Groot made me grin big time. Fun is definitely the right word there. Would love to see HtD show up in the DS movie. That would be cool beans.

It was cool, but not "hang out and stare at the credits" cool, since they've raised the bar kinda high. It was also a Howard that looked more like the original comic. Still cool, but not breathtaking, if you know what I mean.

Just because we're on the subject, what was the first movie everybody saw with a post-credits surprise? Mine was Ferris Bueler's Day Off, and it was just by luck that we were sitting around waiting for the crowd to die and finishing our popcorn.

First movie I saw with a blooper reel was Cannonball Run. Maybe Smokey and the Bandit. I think they both had them.

Actually have a couple of those old things around here somewhere except they are sound activated, so they would really "dance" to the music instead of just merely spin with no variance. If remember correctly, they had dancers on each (male and female) made of cheap rubberish crap... parents thought they would be such a great gift (AKA they were on a clearance rack someplace for not much more than a dollar, or even a yard sale; was NEVER bought anything new in my life from time I was born on up.. always year(s) old junk or refurbished crapola. Didn't change after grew up and moved the hell up lol)

right when the Collector's assistant, Carina, is introducing the Collector, about 55min in, after Rocket and Cosmo (the dog in the space suit) snarl at each other.

Howard turns his head as the camera shifts focus from the background to the foreground.

Carina, "I present to you, Taneleer Tivan"

OH SO THIS.

I was very disappointed that THE INCREDIBLE HULK didn't have one, but it was only the 2nd movie and
I don't think they'd gotten the formula down (the scene in the bar with Stark and Ross was supposed to
be the post-credit coda, but apparently they got cold feet).

I feel that I WANT YOU BACK is perhaps the best pop song ever, and it was a great cherry on the hugely
yummy parfait that was GotG

Where is my Baby Groot/Dancing Ally McBeal baby mash up? Before Hooked On a Feeling became known as the Guardians of the Galaxy song on Youtube, it was the dancing baby song for most of the 1990s. When I saw the headline, I thought Disney had released a 3D GIF of a dancing Groot turning in circles.
