Pretty much all of my ladyfriends will be elbowing you out of the way and make it rain like Hurricane Sandy,

I can't say as I blame them one bit.

With more male nudity in this world, I think we might just be alright.

The only reason anyone cares about this movie or character in the slightest seems to be more Khal Drogo with less clothing. Just be aware that you're in for what will almost certainly be the schlockiest schlock that ever schlocked.

Hey, never knew you were from Gaithersburg.  I lived there for a year in corporate housing when I consulted to NIH/NCI.  I lived in that apartment building across the street from The Rio.

Right?

I can't be the only one thinking DC is making this as a "Fark you" to everyone who has hated on Aquaman over the last 50 years (since SuperFriends).

// it'd be easier if they had some good titles done first
// Marvel didn't publicly announce GotG until after a few successful titles (and Incredible Hulk)

I'll watch it and like it.

I have to laugh when I go to U. Studios' Islands of Adventure.

On Superhero Island, The Hulk has a coaster.  Spiderman, a mixed media ride.  Dr. Doom/Fantastic Four have free-fallish ride.  Storm has a scrambler.

Prince Namor?  He has a bathroom toward the back.

This is reminding me a lot of the American Dad where the boys get ahold of the script for the new Fast and the Furious movie and find that it's basically written and filmed like a hard core gay porno and then cut down for cinematic release.

Huh huh release

Good casting. It's only fitting that Aquaman has the power to make things wet.

Makes sense, as the main reason behind "300" was homo erotica that guys could watch without fear of being called gay. Similar to UFC.

I thought the Aquaman movie was produced by James Cameron starring Adrian Grenier in the lead role. Although he turned down the role in the sequel.

As far as I'm concerned the only version of Aquaman not to be a lame joke, or a lame ripoff of everyone's favorite mutant Sub-Mariner.

"The thought process being that if the two writers work on scripts on their own, the studio can then take the best points from each film and put them together in one super-film."

What could possibly go wrong?

As long as it's GOOD schlock, like Snakes on a Plane and not BAD schlock like Snow White and the Huntsman
