I calculate the odds of this occurring are 27-1

Truly amazing

Fun Fact: The same guy caught both the Lance Berkman HR and the game-winning Chris Burke HR during the 18-inning Game 4 of the NLDS.

More Fun Facts: I considered shooting heroin during that game.  It was stressful being an Astros fan that day.

Nowadays...not so much stress, but a whole heaping of misery.

My "favorite" example of a double catch, as it were, only because it's so damned unlucky: Richie Ashburn hit the same lady twice with foul balls in the same at-bat.

On August 17, 1957, Richie Ashburn of the Philadelphia Phillies hit spectator Alice Roth with a foul ball, breaking her nose. As Alice was being carried off the field on a stretcher, Ashburn hit her with another foul ball, breaking a bone in her knee.

Oh. I thought an outfielder made a leaping catch and robbed a guy of a home run twice in the same game. That would have contained significantly more entertaining agony.

My MSPaint skills are weak, but I made this recently.  Figured it would be as good as any place to share . . .

uber humper: I was hoping for Bartman

Well, earlier tonight a Chicago team did give up a bunch of runs after a shiat play, but a fan wasn't involved.

I want to believe.

It's Houston.  How many fans were actually in the stands to compete with?

What had that lady done to make Richie Ashburn so mad?
