Something tells me I know who the subby is behind this headline.

Well played.

Could be worse. They could have come down with norovirus or be forced to watch Endless Eight.

They fix the cable?

Okay, Raisers. Your "tough guy" image is old and tired. How about trying to play football for once? Ever think of that? Obviously what you've been doing doesn't work.

How bout dem Cowboys!

Well, that was kinda a deliberate "get your head out of my nuts" kick.

Shootings coming. The NFL should bust the shiat out of both teams for encouraging more street violence. Dumb stunt by both teams. Damn.

Raiders fans: I learned it from watching you!

2014-08-13 09:30:13 AM
They're going to fight in the regular season, so it only makes sense to do it in the preseason.

Practice makes perfect.

Players fighting in training camp?

This never happens.

That was way less stabby than I expected from Raiders fans. Or the Raiders, for that matter.

Well when you can't play football, what are your other options?

Between the two, I'd still root for the Raiders.

Yes, because holding a joint practice between ANY two NFL teams would otherwise never end in a fight......

It's football. What the fark do you expect?

So, this is where the Cowboys are at. Good show, Jerrah. Tight ship you're running there.

I don't follow the Raiders but I still don't understand why they traded for Schaub. Did they really expect him to do a 180 from his performance last season or does Al Davis just enjoy the suffering from fans as he shatters their hopes and dreams?

Isolated incident.  Just some over exuberance from some hustling kids that really love the game.

I hate the Raiders, but that's a good trade for them. They only gave up a 6th round pick for him, so if he shiats the bed again, no big loss.

Enlightened Liberal: I don't follow the Raiders but I still don't understand why they traded for Schaub.

Because the Texans would let him go for a 5th-round pick. If you draft a QB in the 5th, you probably don't expect him to make the team. Spending that pick on a proven starter isn't a huge gamble, and they're basically wagering that a new environment and a lack of Gary Kubiak could be a good combination to reset Schaub.

It also gives the young QBs on the roster a chance to see what not to do.

Here hoping either McGloin and Carr pan out.

I just keep reminding myself, it can always be worse...

That's never going to happen. The Raiders wouldn't know what to do with a hard-drinking, largely Latino fanbase.

The Redskins hosted the Patriots for three days leading up to their preseason game and there weren't any fights...in fact both teams seemed to come out of it with lots of positives.

There were multiple fights at the Packers practice earlier this week, and they are they classiest team in the NFL. Just ask their fans.

There should to be a way of recording things on your tv without resorting to actually recording your crappy crt playing a video. Somebody should work on that.

I do have to say that it is nice to see the Raiders full of piss and vinegar for a change.

Madden's 1970s Raiders? Well, yeah, but some of those guys probably carried chains in their uniform. Hell, Blanda might have pulled out a .38 and a bottle of whiskey.
