I mean, if you had company, you wouldn't want the caulk to be all crumbly.

oh veggies.  I need better glasses.

I had hamburgers from a local cow.  I couldn't finish it.  Bessie!  No actually it tasted a little funny, probably just fine, but the puppy got a hamburger and it wasn't even her birthday.

OK. Back and eating and watching.

Maybe you're just used to horse meat from McDonald's?

2014-08-12 09:20:45 PM
My pasta was made from just over 100g of semolina flour with added dried oregano, fresh ground pepper, and zahtar. And one egg (free range and organic).

Well, the egg itself wasn't free range, but its mother was.

I just finished putting in my nephew's alternator when it started raining like CRAZY. It is torrential downpour out there. Just got inside. I'm still wet, and the dogs won't get out of my lap because of the thunder.

It was fast and easy, if not exactly nutritious.  A 6-egg pound cake.  Also included 3 sticks of butter.

Do you like it?

I put an alternator in a '79 Datsun pickup, which is probably the easiest truck to work on in the universe. My Honda Accord was a nightmare. Everything that could possibly go wrong with it (and it did) was either $3,000 in professional labor costs or 6 months in weekend labor. I still hate Hondas with the fire of a thousand suns.

I wonder if it is just random, or a true pSychological science thing. :)  I would like a 50 cal., not that I'd know what to do with it.

You can probably still get your AK-47 if you don't live in the US, since they banned their import recently.

Hahahaha! No kidding. Nothing sadder than a Great Dane unsuccessfully trying to hide under your couch. I was out on the porch and the black chihuahua was actually trying to herd me inside. He was jumping against me and trying to push me inside the house. "Are you crazy? There's loud booms out here!" So I came in and sat down and they jumped on me.

So I tried to do that quiz and got here...

You are fantasizing you are the starting QB for a NFL team playing in the Superbowl and you are calling the plays. You are up by 2 points, 4th and 1 at your own 5 yard line with 30 seconds left, you...

I don't know what language this is.

Argh. Fark lost my comment.

Anyway, I felt the same way with regards to the sports questions, so I just guessed on those.

As for the coffee, I love it! I also bought some "brain octane oil," which is supposedly 18 times stronger than coconut oil. Will try it tomorrow.

I know that the bodybuilder types use that kind of stuff, but chemically, coconut oil is just like any other MCT oil. Some of the more expensive ones have "exotic" oils. Coconut oil is like 60% medium-chain triglycerides. I use a totally cheap-o coconut oil called Louana, because it doesn't have any flavor. The super-extra-virgin coconut oil is supposed to be great, but after the first jar, I couldn't stand everything tasting like an Almond Joy.

Drinking a glass of RumChata

/had some homemade pear cider earlier, but I think the pear had fallen too far from the tree and it was more like fermented dishrag.

//the RumChata is pretty good though

And coconut oil.

It ramps up fat burning and the medium-chain triglycerides are rapidly metabolized by the brain. It does give quite the boost.
