Wow, if it didn't mean I'd actually have to play baseball competently, I could live my dream of being the tallest 2nd baseman in Major League Baseball.

It's true, hell IS in the details.

no way Ian Kinsler is six foot.

I prefer to rank them based on dreaminess.

Shame Us: I prefer to rank them based on dreaminess.

I was gonna say it must've been annoying to photoshop them so they all look the same height even when walking in their photos, but having to add "dreaminess" would've been interesting.

Dang, Pedroia isn't the shortest?

Dee Gordon is 5'-11"?  No farking way.......

Adam Kennedy is 5'11?

Also, I forget who, but a few years back the Angels' 2B leapt for a ball way over his head, and the announcers spent the next AB laughing about how short he is.

// why can I not think of his name?
// for some reason, I think his last name starts with an 'E'

DAVID ECKSTEIN.

// who is 5'7
// that was figuratively killing me

A slightly drunk and quite attractive female Blue Jays fan informed that the Mariners got a great deal when they traded for Eric Thames because he was 'Soooo hot'. So that's a valid ranking for some people.

/don't remember who we traded for him?

He's a high motor, scrappy lunch pail kind of guy right? Dare I say it, even gritty?

I got Rougned Odor's autograph in Spring Training. He's not 5'-11". I'd say 5'-9.5".

Yu Darvish, on the other hand, may actually be taller than his listed height of 6'-5".

Steve Delabar. Nobody won that trade, really. We traded Thames to Baltimore for Ty Kelly a year after trading for him.

My all time favorite short guy was Freddie Patek.

Doesn't seem like someone named "Scooter" can be 5'11".

Aaron Hill is 5'11"?

Not even close

So what you're saying is that Peter Dinklage would be the 2nd baseman on the Game of Thrones baseball team?

\best part of all of this is, those "official" heights are usually padded
\\So if Pedey is listed as 5'8" and is, well, not, what does that make Altuve?

We got Delabar from the Mariners. Can't speak th Thames' dreaminess, but he did consistently rock excellent facial hair. Shame he can't play baseball.

FriarReb98: what does that make Altuve?

he looks to be approximately 1 Altuve tall.

He really comes to play. This guy knows the game of baseball. Imagine if he pulled his socks up, he'd be a real sparkplug on the diamond. Someone you can rally around.
