zeroman987: Part of Greece's problem was that they could attract people from wealthier nations to their country for a relatively cheap vacation. Then the Euro came and messed that up.I'm not saying that things were peachy keen before the euro, but when I visited in 2005, there was a lot of grousing from the locals we talked to; the Euro basically stopped the gravy train.
