What is a "black spot"? There is nothing in the article that even hints as to what it may be and the Googles has been less than helpful.

Well done subby. You've cited an article from a site called "Edinburgh Evening News", a subset of a site called "The Scotsman", and you've somehow managed to infer it happened in England.

cannotsuggestaname: What is a "black spot"? There is nothing in the article that even hints as to what it may be and the Googles has been less than helpful.

Black spot at Wikipedia.

I'll let you work out which meaning it is.

I'm going to go with "Another name for diplopstomiasis, a disease affecting fish."

Scotland is not England and we can all figure out Pounds without having to convert to USD. It's a Lamborghini...it's expensive in any currency.

The article includes a photo of half of a white car, that doesn't really look damaged, but theyre sure it's got a huge repair bill, despite not knowing who owns it.

A notorious black spot, and correlating to Wikipedia, I'll guess means a place known for accidents, but that's not really any more information is it. An accident happened on a road. Just as much information.

This sharticle was short and shiatty.

The picture has got about fifteen pixels, and the figure caption credits it to Pic:Comp, whatever the shiat that means.

Ow! That was my feelings!: Half a Mil for a Lamborghini? I didn't realize they made one that cheap.

Gallardos and Huracans are the relatively cheap Lamborghinis.

Around $200,000, depending on specific make, IIRC.

Honestly, that blows my perception of what a 'Lambo' is. Didn't realize how out of touch I am with the Supercar market. I guess the occasional Top Gear episode is not enough.

Once Audi acquired Lambo, they started dressing up R8s in Lambo body work, resulting in lower-priced Lambos (apparently they're much more reliable nowadays too).  Remembering that "cheap" is all relative here---if you want "expensive" Italian supercars, you have to go with Pagani.

Can't imagine feeling comfortable driving around a car worth that much on the same roads that is also populated by cars that were bought for "$99 down and $99 a month".

I like to imagine a Pagani as being Monica Bellucci in car form.

Especially the Zonda Cinque. That one, she's horny.

I dispute that - if you paid for it with a Veyron, you'd get 4 or 5 Aventadors as change.

/ and it you only cost one Great Triganic Pu.

Look at the picture. There's a little damage to the mostly carbon fibre Lambo, whereas the Vauxhaul lost a tire to the frame. The rich are safer in their supercars, as long as they don't drive them like race cars.

Also, watch a factory show on where they build Lambos. Before they put a drive train in them, it looks like they're building space fighters ala Star Wars. Just give them the drive units and we're ready to send pilots against Imperial cruisers.

I feel like I'm the only person on earth who thinks the Pagani is the ugliest piece of shiat on the road.

It displays it's exhaust pipes like a red-assed baboon displays it's butthole.

A friend of mine bought one a few months ago. The handlebars on my sportster are higher than the car.

Haven't parked my Road Glide next to it yet but the seat is probably higher than the car.
