FTA: Besides the $525,000 in fines and expenses, Barneys will hire an "anti-profiling consultant" for two years.

Just spitballing here, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the consultant will recommend that they stop profiling customers.

It's amazing that consultant guy gets paid 100k+ to come in and say basically that for two years long. 'People with more skills get the high paying jobs'

Given that Sharpton had his claws in this too, I wonder how much his "National Action Network" got paid off.

Also, is that 525K coming in the form of one handbag, or two?

well, if a large percentage of your product loss is coming at the hands of certain groups of people, why not profile?

Barneys paying $525K....Barney the dinosaur ("Super-dee-duper!"),
Barney Rubble ("Gee, Fred! Heh-heh-heh!"), Barney Fife ("Nip it in the bud!"),
Barney Stinson ("Viz-a-tivity"), or Barney Gumble ("Hey, Homer...BUUURRRP!")?
