(New Musical Express)   Morrissey dropped by his record label, which should surprise absolutely no one, considering he just publicly blasted them for failing to support his newest album   (nme.com ) divider line

Now he really has a reason to be whiny and emo.

Must have finished the contract. Why bother supporting the last album on a known property that will never get any bigger than it currently is.

Fantastic news! I'll go have a bacon cheeseburger to celebrate!

Considering, he also pretty much refuses to tour to support his work (shiat ton of cancellations since 2012) it is of no wonder he was dropped.

I'm sure his fan will eventually get over it.

I love The Smiths, and Morrissey has some great songs, but if anyone was ever a candidate to be on meds to control his behavior, it's him. He must certainly be the dictionary definition of a "prat".

I should have anticipated that my sloppy sentence construction would open the door to the zombie question. In the unlikely event that your question is meant seriously I would venture to say that even zombies would find Morrissey's whining tiresome and depressing.

Then maybe we can use him as an anti-zombie weapon when the uprising happens.

Pretty much my take.

FFS, this guy was getting security to search people for non-vegan food before allowing them into his shows and going on extended rants in lieu of singing before shiatting on his label.

Surprised the other shoe didn't drop even sooner.

For all Elvis' shortcomings, he's a great vocalist and has written some incredible songs. Better than anything Morrissey has done. And certainly better than a majority of anything Diamond Dave churned out. And, Elvis' voice is as powerful now as it was in his early days. I do think Morrissey still sounds pretty good too... when he decides to stop being a whining biatch and actually give a shiat about something besides himself. But he's no Elvis Costello.
