She should be a recurring character on Archer...

Grey's Anatomy? Is that the show where we're supposed to believe a bunch of neurotic, emotional cripples are actually brilliant surgeons?

She's all set for a Hunger Games trilogy that takes place thirty years after the first one.

Greys Anatomy? Isn't that the one that requires all its characters to spend at least five minutes of every episode staring out the window at the Seattle rain while something by the Civil Wars (I.e., awful and monotonous) plays?

Only if you expect a show to have a believable story line, rational character development, and continuity across multiple episodes.

My better half was a big fan for years, just because it was brain candy.  Last season I heard her yell out "OH COME ON!" at the TV after one particularly stupid episode.  Another viewer lost.

Christ, that show is still on? I though they canceled it years ago. It seems like it has been at least 3 or 4 years since I have heard anything about it. Is that Asian woman, who's face looks like the bottom of a shoe and who everybody pretends is hot, still on the show?

Same here.  I am sure I remember hearing that the last episode was a SERIES finale.  I remember thinking I should catch it because I was actually a fan of the show for the first few seasons and I wanted to see how things had changed since I stopped watching.

Also, I seriously see what you did there.

Just think, if Scrubs: Med School hadn't been cancelled, it could be languishing like Grey's Anatomy.  Since it was, we still have eight fairly solid season of medical comedy and we can just ignore the ninth as a mistake.

Fun fact!
In scrubs first season, you'll notice that JD is the only character that interacts with "the janitor" this was because the shows creator wanted to use him as an "out" in case the show got cancelled early. If the show got cancelled it would have been revealed that JD had a terminal brain tumor and the janitor existed only in his mind.

At least ER was savvy enough to hire helicopter as a recurring nemesis towards the end to keep things interesting. Did helicopter find work afterwards?

I tried it the first season and gave up. I later learned I wasn't a fan of ABC's soft porn prime-time soap operas.

Then I picked it up again last season, and realized the show had really jumped the shark. I had a similar reaction to this season's The Night Shift. Of course, not every hospital show can be House, MD, and they still seem to have a lot of viewers, but I was not a fan of the plot lines.

You might want to watch Die Hard 4 again--that's right, Helicopter got into the movies, and even did his own stunt work!

Kind of normal progression of things, unfortunately. In America anyway.

Euro actresses age much better.

Hot Geena Davis: Earth Girls Are Easy

The whole movie is free on IMDB/Hulu.

Silly fun, you can't make movies like this any more. It's like a school play starring Jeff Goldblum, Geena Davis, and Damon Wayans.

Not to mention Jim Carrey, Julie Brown and Michael McKean.... It WAS good silly fun, although it seemed more like early '80s than late '80s.

I read that the janitor(drawing a blank on the actor's name) ad libbed so much of his stuff that sometimes the scripts just read 'Have janitor come in and say something funny'. Definitely a great TV show character, never knew where they were going to go next with him.

Came here to say this. Apparently live-action shows from before the writer's strike are still on...
