Dude, melon rods changed my life.  It's the new Paleo. Keep an open mind cut up some watermelon into bite-sized sticks, serve it up in the office break room and I guarantee by the end of the day your colleagues will carry you out on their shoulders as if you were Rudy and you'd just scored the winning touchdown. Careful though, do it more than once and they will mistake you for a God and expect you to turn the contents of the water-cooler into wine.

I'm making a video about putting dry rice in your salt shaker so the salt won't clump that will blow your doors of perception straight off their hinges.  Brace yourself, it promises to be a game-changer.

Another watermelon cutting video, another opportunity to infect your friends with e-coli.

Ladies, before you do any cutting, scrub those melons.

Anyone notice that, when the video's over and youtube overlays the replay button, that 'food hack' almost reads like 'food fark'?

That's at least two levels below this method, even if this one does have VVS.

That's how I do it, and I use the rind as a bowl.  People tend to be inordinately impressed.

I also made serving boards for cheese out of slate, granite, and marble floor tiles form the Home Depot (sealed with a food safe sealer, of course).  It's funny the kinds of things people who don't cook find impressive.

I feel like I wasted the one calorie it took to click.

The people who do food prep at Golden Corral buffet look like culinary geniuses next to this video.

Seedless watermelons suck.  Nowhere near the flavor of a regular watermelon

No, THIS is the way to eat a watermelon:
