Here's an idea, whyn't we stop opening casinos in places that are already shiathole traps for the poor? Looking at you Baltimore!

/only vaguely related to tfa, but the new casino here pisses me off

I love gambling, not much like raking it in at a hot craps table.  Also not much like waking up and rummaging through your pockets to find ATM receipts showing how much you pulled out the night before and blew in exchange for "free" drinks, a room and a buffet.

I find it hard to believe there are people who can work full time in a casino and not be alcoholics or addicts to numb the pain.

Different strokes I guess.

The owners of casinos are straight up lost souls though. No helping them.

she could have been a hippy SF super-mom; with those names too. but yes, the odds are against those poor children.

I work right near Live and Im suprised they dont just dump their kids at Arundel Mills. The casinos are starting to piss me off too, I hear about all the benefits of having them here but have yet to see it.

When I was a kid, (I'm 48) most casinos had child care centers. Granted this was before there were Injun casinos every 20 miles and my parents had to drive to Reno to gamble.
