Apropos of nothing, I recently bought the Lego spaceship set from the Lego Movie.  Nice little bit of nostalgia for the old Space Police/Blacktron/Ice Planet sets I used to build back when I was in elementary school.

It's no coincidence that Benny's Spaceship³! from the movie is labeled "LL 929".

watching Porn is more interesting than most of the assembly line 'films' that come out of Hollywood these days.  they're too lazy to write and produce something that is different and original.    too conservative, they want to follow the same mold that made them billions last time.  this is what happens when you allow business f*cks to have total control of something that Artists and creative people should control.

kinda' like the music industry.  some jackoff sitting behind a desk knows what good music is.  apparently.

It's almost like all epic stories follow a similar framework.  It's like there's just one hero but he has 1000 different faces.  I, for one, am shocked...

I had the same thought, but only because Chris Pratt plays himself in both films (a bit more childish in Lego, a bit more blustery in GotG). If you generalize and cherry pick enough, you can make Ben Hur and The Fifth Element the same film.

More alarming is the fact that Zoe Saldana plays the same role/character in every movie (stiff love interest for the protagonist* who gradually loosens up), and that she got out-acted by BATISTA in GotG.

* "B-b-b-but she's with Spock!" Yeah, but the tension between her and Kirk is the important thing.

My older brother, the little ocd bistard he is saved all his LEGO sets and their boxes.  If you stacked them flat on top of each other they would go to the ceiling.  I wonder how much their worth, since it was the mid 80's.

Switch to amateur: awkward transitions, basket of laundry in the background, he's pushing the envelope a bit more than she planned, she does swallow, a bit of post-coital chatter and the dropped-microphone sound as he picks up the camcorder from the dresser to turn it off. Good times.

Nope, they were part of a military group that was not part of a government or race. Like terrorists. That's why Nova One asked to the rest of the Kree (?) to disavow his actions. Police would have been the Nova Corps. Keep up, dude.
