(Deadline)   Matthew Rhys cast as Bradley Cooper's rival in a new comedy about French chefs. Hopefully, Rhys gets a wig that's as ridiculous as anything he's worn in The Americans   (deadline.com ) divider line

I've never quite figured out how he managed to go down on the FBI secretary quite enthusiastically while wearing a wig and fake mustache and not have anything come off.

It is impossible to name a single good movie about chefs.

Difficulty: American Movie

That's an amazing angle they have there, but Philip would sooner kill every motherf*cker in the Rezidentura than allow harm to come to Paige.

As for other... unlikely-to-live characters, Da Wife and I have alternately titled the show, "Oh, Martha... No...."

I just don't think there is a stupider character on TV. Since when was it ever a good idea to plant random recording devices in the office of your boss? Especially when he is in charge of tracking down KGB agents who have infiltrated the US? The Bad Idea Bears are her spirit animals.

Julie and Julia?  Amy Adams and Meryl Streep, in case I got the title wrong.

So very glad I'm not alone in that.

Now that Cranston is out of the Emmy picture and McConaughey won't be there next year...Rhys should rightfully be nom'd.  He is outstanding. (Particularly since he has to bang that freaky Secretary and pretend to enjoy it.)

Also, more lingering shots of Keri Russel's incredible naked behind wouldn't hurt.  Work of art that is.

My favorite wig of season 2 was the Rust Cohle 2012 special.

She knows that the hair is fake. She mentioned it in an "I love you anyway" moment in season 2. He did seem actually surprised though

I know you think its a ridiculous cariacture. So did I until my daughter turned 14.

/both are very authentic portrayals.
