Actually no, it probably wouldn't work, the rest of them pretty much sucked in one way or another...

I thought Macgruber worked in that intentionally terrible movie way.

Pass. Lonely Island is ok by me, but my favorite part is how they make shiat 'musicians' actually entertaining: Timberlake, Minaj (or wtf it's spelled), Levine, that kid from The Strokes, that's what I find cool about them.

Songs are sometimes hilarious the first few times too, then slide into just quirky.

And Waynes World did not age well. And both produced sequels that suck

3) Every studio bought out rights to every comic of the last 50 years, so by my count, they have empty recycled content lined up for the next 500 years, give or take.

It is a little crazy that a studio like Marvel can essentially plan the next 10 years of release dates with sequels of sequels that haven't even been released yet. But, they know they will get the money. I don't particularly care in this case, as the Marvel films have been pretty entertaining so far, but it is kind of funny that they know they will get the money to the point they can plan it that precisely. I guess if for some reason Avengers 2 flops (nuclear war or an asteroid or something), they can always cancel the next one.

Judd Apatow was not involved with Wedding Crashers in any way.

I never said he was. After his style of comedies were hits, people tried to copy it and horrible shiat like Wedding Crashers happened.

I hated Macgruber twice but loved it from the third time on. Ironically he's got one of the most realistic 'I lost all my friends in a horrific accident' reactions I've ever seen committed to film.

And being a lonely island fan, their non-snl music/comedic material is weak. Their strength was in Lorn Michaels and cameos. Hell yeah I'd like to see what they'd come up with for a movie.

His comedies weren't the catalyst. Old School was the one that started the wave of Frat Pack films.

In fact, up until 40-Year Old Virgin, Apatow was more known for being the guy that made TV shows that never made it more than a season.
