Ah yes, the man we frequently referred to my fantasy league as "Butt-Ass Scott Mitchell" because he sucked ass.

Nice job, subby, that is funny.

He did ok that season he stapped in for Marino. Then he got hurt, and at some point Steve DeBerg was in the huddle despite collecting social security at the time.

Sure got fat though.

It always strikes me as a little unfair that they put former professional athletes on that show with normal people. Sure, they're big now, but they're at least passingly familiar with tough workouts.

/Not that anyone should really go on that show

Which Lion was he quarterback for?

An autoplay video on a mobile site? For shame CBS. For shame.

I thought so to but I guess they are doing a former athlete edition. Damien Woody from ESPN and the Chargers is on there too and he's just under 400lbs now

Wow, 366 pounds?

...still looks slimmer than JaMarcus Russell and Jared Lorenzen...

Playing for the Lions gives him experience at being the biggest loser.

He always looked fat as a player.  I guess when his mandatory exercise finally stopped when he retired he grew into his true form.  He should embrace it.

The ex-Lion is built like a bear, oh my.

Read that as Sharon Mitchell for some reason.

That's old school. I preferred Torre Wells. To this day I can still replay in my head note for note the background music to her scene with Peter North in Night Dreams. I had the VHS. Or, copy of, rather.

It seems the exact opposite happens to lineman because they have to eat a crap ton just to maintain weight. Then when their playing days are over they drop a hundred pounds because that diet is unsustainable unless you are constantly training and playing.

I wish I were a mediocre ex NFL quarterback. I mean, most fans wish they could have been good enough for the NFL. He was. Yes, he was good enough to suck, but still good enough.

This is funny because he was literally "'Fat' Mitchell" in my league.

If you play for the Lions, you already qualify as "the biggest loser".
