Or make me hungry for people with fake tans.  They will look even more appealing when the food wars come.

Saw a woman on a ferry in California who's face looked like dark leather. Scared the children. People are strange.

There's a joke there about John Boehner and pork, but I don't want to bring the Politics Tab over here.

If I understand that article, and I think I do, I don't have to cook my bacon anymore; I just have to spray it with tanning spray and it's ready to eat.

Thanks, science!

/Bacon flavoured Soylent Green?

I'd be kind of surprised if they could make it in any other flavor

There's no bacon in it, but you should check out the investigation of chemicals the Chinese use to make Won Ton Soup.

I saw a report on Al Jazeera about it.  Once reserved for emperors, now everyone can have Won Ton Soup.  The ingenious Chinese have found a way to make it with chemicals though for a fifth of the price.

Lead?  Yeah, that's one of the ingredients.
Formaldehyde?  Yeah, that's in there too.
Borax?  Of course that's in it.

It's farking scary
