there are two bands that dress as mummies. One is simply called The Mummies and play pseudo punk/garage/horseshiat. The other is Here Come The Mummies, career session musicians from Nashville wear the costumes because they're contracted under different labels, and are the tightest ensemble this side of Tower Of Power.

There was a band  called "The Ass Robots" that fit 7 out of 10 on the list. In fact I saw one of them dressed as a mexican wrestler, dropkick a robot on stage in Scranton. They might have played music, not sure.

They mention wrestling as a gimmick and fail to mention the Dictators?  List fail.

Pants full of macaroni!!: They mention wrestling as a gimmick and fail to mention the Dictators?  List fail.

they mentioned wildly re aranged cover bands and failed to mention Me first and the gimmie gimmies.

As for GWAR, they are opening up GWARbar here in Richmond, Mike Derks is going to be running the place. it's going to be museum to all things GWAR.

Dave Brokies alleged plan was to retire in 10 years after passing on the front man duties to a protege, and open up the resturant/bar and grill.

so hey, GWAR might just tour again with a new front man

Nash the Slash bandaged up in the late '70s and performed electronic and synth rock; he played electric violin and has a superior version of "Dead Man's Curve".

Curiously, the only artist I've heard actually referred to as "the future of Rock & Roll" was Bruce Springsteen and he never did any of that shiat.

biyaaatci: Now to fit in on the Seattle scene, you've gotta do somethin' they ain't never seen. So thinkin' up a gimmick one day, we decided to be the only band that wouldn't play a note. Under any circumstances. Silence. Music's original alternative. Roots grunge.

We do you one better -- we don't even show up.
