Well, nobody should be in the polka business, I guess I can agree with the headline.

It would have been nice if the text in TFA gave his name rather than just referring to him as "boy".

Here is a YouTube channel which has around 50 of his performances
https://www.youtube.com/user/spanamwar/videos

Sadly, he doesn't seem too popular (some lucky videos crack 100 views), then again polka fans may find the internet too much of a challenge.

Can we re-gift it to another race?

Can't wait till he hits his teens and rebels.  Hard core polka!

That kid is going to spend a lot of time between 13 and 20 years older wondering what his dating life would be like if he put all of his time into rock music instead.

There was a famous accordion player touring through Central Texas awhile back He was going to all the famous old dance halls that are still around in the German and Czech communities. He stopped to have a beer in a bar, and realized he had left his prized antique accordion unlocked in the back seat of his car.
He ran out to the car but it was too late.

There were 3 more accordions in the car.

He can sit in with my polka/death metal band anytime. Satan's Lederhosen loves to jam.

Well, he doesn't do any Bach  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VVFu8GQyWw  but yeah, the beer garden chicks will dig him in a few more years.

So when I was a little kid I would spend some of my summer with my grandparents in Dravosburg Pennsylvania. Their next door neighbors were Italian. The dad was in his fifties and walked home from the bus stop in his black suit everyday looking like some kind of Mafia don. The wife was full on Italian too, but they had a teenage son and daughter, Eric and Adela. I don't remember Eric very well but Adela was like a young Sofia Loren and I might have jacked it for the first time thinking about her. I could be wrong- it was a long time ago.

Anyway, Eric and Adela both played the accordion. Sometimes you would hear family arguments and they always shouted at each other in Italian. Many times you would then hear footsteps pound up the stairs, a door slam, and then accordion music.

Pretty interesting family.

I'm sensing he doesn't polka that way. Just the vibe I get.

Methinks there's a touch of Asperger's in there.

Speaking of talented organists

Very talented, but not nearly weird enough. If you hadn't noticed, there's a bit more to Al than just the accordion.
