Adriana's Insurance

Should've known they were nothing but scam artists by the name.

Myself, I get my coverage through Manuels's Liquor, Guns, and Insurance in the strip mall on 132nd street.

It's not an insurance company, it's an insurance agency/broker. (IOW, they're selling the policies other companies are writing and are-in essence-a middleman).

Also, from their website, they have this "Start your quote" box that apparently needs to be filled in with....not sure. Line of insurance? Amount? Change? It's hard to notice anything but those manicured nails.

I don't know either, but if that's Adriana she's kind of hot. She can fish for the loose change from my pockets if you know what I mean.

You have to put in the number of buckets worth of pennies you want your deductible to be.

If it's funny when people stick it to the man by paying in pennies, it should be funny in the other direction too.

Tell it to the judge. They might consider it contempt.

I am going to save this article so I can show it to every nimrod who posts about paying your mortgage, fines etc. this way when they feel aggrieved.

I tought it was only legal in debts under $100. Or there was some local or state government trying to force that since people started to pay them in change for some dick move they pulled.

That's fine. Make a representative of the company count it to you. Just like a store would.

For whatever reason "zip code" wasn't showing up on my browser (and stpauler's as well apparently).

Appears to be the "placeholder" attribute in older browsers.

I hope so.  Also, I assume he's retired with a lot of time on his hands... he could use his free time to:

1 - sort out all the silvery coins and take'm to the bank for counting/deposit

2 - sort all the pre-1982 pennies out into one pile and sell them for scrap copper at twice their face value (about 2.1 cents per penny these days)

3 - Sort out the 1983 (transitional) pennies and look for minting errors, could be valuable

It could be a nice hobby for him, with a little extra profit to top it off.

you're not seeing the actual funny part.  it's not the pennies, but the sticking it to man part.  the man sticking it to the people is only funny to other members of 'the man'.  are you such a member?

Apparently one guy with limited resources is exactly the same as a company, with much more resources, actually performing the service it was paid to do.

Putting text like that inside of a text box doesn't work for all browsers, so that technique is frowned on.  Some people will see it and know what to put in the box and some wont.

Imagine how much work it took to acquire that much change.
