I'm really trying my best NOT to imagine anything about this story.

Anybody want to buy a slightly used unicycle?

You live by the unicycle, you die by the unicycle

Last night, the 47-year-old was riding his unicycle northbound on Sens at L Street in La Porte when he was struck and killed. The driver of the Jeep that hit him stopped and waited for police. No charges are expected to be filed.

Of course not, he solved their problem for them.

So, I suppose now all we have left to make fun of is the pink unitard unicyclist :(

This could have been avoided if he'd worn something white while riding at night.

So it works even better than the drunk defense! If you want to get away with murder, just make sure your victim is crazy first, THEN run them over. Got it.

Seriously, no charges for hitting and killing someone? TFA says traffic was "distracted" by the sight of him. Did someone get so distracted they veered toward the line of sight and mowed him down? WTF here?

I used to see this guy riding his unicycle out in Bayport by the plants on my way home.  Of course he was fully clothed at the time.  I always wondered why anyone would choose that mode of transport through an industrial area.  I guess crazy explains it.

No joke.

I have seen that guy at San Jacinto State Park a couple of times. And narrowly avoided being hit twice.

Some one told me that he was a teacher...

Don't this make your brown eye blue?

My mom got me a unicycle one year for x-mas... I actually learned to ride it, it was fun.  It was amazingly much easier to learn than I had expected.

Vector R: TFA says traffic was "distracted" by the sight of him.

It's 2 incidents.

May 9, 2012: He was stopped for being naked, when he distracted traffic, which earned him the nickname "The Naked Unicyclist".

Last night: He was killed by a Jeep.  I think because he was riding at night, not because he was or was not naked.  (I'd guess he was not naked this time.)

/Not sure if this is what Welldead was trying to explain in the 4th comment or if he was making a 9-11 joke.

I got that part, I'm just puzzled why no charges are being filed. Is the Jeep driver blowing the DA or something?
