"Which would you rather fight: one horse-sized duck or a hundred duck-sized horses?"

That's a tough one.

I was hoping Colbert would say: "I've slept with Bill Clinton".
THAT would have been funny!

She banged the President of the United States*, which is a lot more than Colbert can say. Of course, it was Bill, so I guess that's not a very exclusive club.

*This is an assumption on my part that may be completely wrong.

No it isn't. Ducks are MEAN. The little horses would all run away.

That was my original thought.

But then I thought, sure the neck of a Peking Duck snaps pretty easy after being cooked but an uncooked angry horse-sized duck'sneck would be a horse-sized duck of another colour.

So then I figured how hard would it be to stomp 100 duck sized horses? Then I questioned how long one would remain upright in such a fight what with the 100 sets of kicking hooves and bitey teeth?

Then I imagined falling down and being swarmed by them angry li'l duck-sized horse and I shuddered.

I remain conflicted on this.

Not if they had no way to escape and had been driven in a red hot fury by mistreatment at the hands of their fiendish evil scientist creators. Duh!

Ducks are probably well-adapted for fighting something the relative size I'd be, but no horse has ever fought anything that big.

This week Colbert is hitting it out of the park, with the whole Nixon retro episode on Monday. And Hilary wasn't even the advertised guest. That was James Cameron. I wonder if he is trying to ramp up the epicness before the end, which is the end of the year if I am not mistaken.

There was a number that counted down each night in the intro before they went on break last time (bottom right, first screen). No longer there now though, or if it really was shows remaining. Think it left off on 79, can't remember.

Far as question at hand: the giant duck. The battle would be epic, and the next week's dinners would be worth it.

Let her run for president, she would get a epic Mondale and Dukakis type beat downs.

Its amazing how some people can ignore how hated they really are in that world.

Actually, she did pretty good.

I won't say she is everyone's favorite, but she is much LESS hated in mainstream society than any of the farking GOP clowns that will more than likely be running

Yeah I would dispute that right now, she is more hated by the middle section of voters she has to get to win. She's gonna get the far left because who else would they vote for? They have done such a good job polarizing the right that republicans could put a pro choice, tax the rich, expand welfare benefits up against her and they would still think they are evil.

She will get stomped big time if she runs, hell she may pull a Dukakis and win NY and just a few other states. She is farking hated by some long term left organizations who I did work for in a few states.

What's amazing is some people bought her bullshiat line that Bill being president bankrupted the family, its beyond insane to think anyone believes they were in dire financial straits after he left office.

The problem with saying things like that is that the hate for Hilary has been there for many years without changing. The far left farking hates her (despite what you say) almost as much as the far right. Because of this, there has always been an undercurrent of hate for her. However, she is currently leading 2016 polls against pretty much any GOP hopeful (I'm not gonna link, a quick google search will show that). The reason it seems like all of America hates Hilary is that the people that do have been shiatting themselves about her for 20 years. If you poll the people, however, it tells a different story. I'm not saying she is my favorite, but the GOP seems to be the ones set to fark up completely...once again.

The middle doesn't hate Hillary nearly as much as you think. They don't like her exactly (she's not a charmer) but they'll grudgingly admit she's intelligent and capable. And when election day rolls around, intelligent and capable will look awfully good compared to whichever escaped mental patient the GOP nominates,

If the Dems chose Hillary (and I'm not convinced that she'll beat Biden), the Republicans should nominate a more moderate candidate like Huntsman and make her run to the left.  Of course, there's more money to be made in frightening seniors and telling them that your opponent is going to take their religious rights and their guns and make their grandkids enter into gay marriages and SOCIALISM!!! so that probably won't happen.

This is the real mystery to me - what evidence is there that she's "intelligent"? She's a typical welfare/warfare statist and hypocritical crony capitalist who believes in the same old boring and predictable "progressive" philosophy of ever-more government regulation and taxation to solve any problem.

If she gets elected, America will have the biggest case of "buyers remorse" since, well, Obama.

Given the alternatives to Obama? I've got no farking Buyer's remorse. I'dhave preferred he be farther left, but he is VASTLY better than the alternatives were.

/If McCain had been elected? We'd ABSOLUTELY have had another Iraq-style war by now.

People had some buyer's remorse about 2nd term Bush starting in 08 or so....they quietly swept him under the rug and pretended it never happened. Now that is what true buyer;s remorse looks like.

Bush who? No, no, we never elected a president named Bush! Not after the first one.

At least, that's the impression you'd get watching the last two major Republican presidential-year conventions...

Since I was 19 in 2008, that was the first presidential election I paid very close attention too. If I remember correctly, the RNC tried not to mention their CURRENTLY IN OFFICE POTUS as much as possible. It was sad and oh so hilarious. 2012 completely forgot about him.

I think the buyers remorse is for 2012, not 2008. Polls show that people now wish that Romney would have won. It's hard to believe that he would have done worse than the unrelenting shiateshow of the 2nd Obama term.
