Bond 24? Take my money.

Boondock Saints 3.

I wish they would make a sequel to Highlander, that would be awesome!

Next year will be awesome for movies, hopefully. I'm very excited for Star Wars although I'll miss the iconic 20th Century Fox logo intro.

Ghostbusters 3?  No.

This. I totally didn't realize how much of that makes me giddy when I hear it.

Ghostbusters 3 isn't happening. Bill Murrey was being a biatch about the script and then Harold Ramis died so...

No new movie.

FTA:  a mere 15 years after Ghostbusters II...

I think you're forgetting to carry a 1 there, it came out in 89.

I feel old.

Disney isn't retarded so I am sure they won't show the castle then segue into the film but I imagine it will just start abruptly with the long time ago on the screen similar to how their marvel films start.

WTF did the article say about Vader returning though? Is that really a rumor? That rumor actually decreases my anticipation because of the plot contortions required to bring him back from the dead.

Has Remy La Croix's Backdoor Awakening 2 been greenlit?

You know they should make another Anchorman movie, right after another Jurassic Park movie and another Austin Powers film.

Bond 24 & Alan Partridge 2 = yep. Otherwise, meh.

How about a sequel to the MATRIX! The movie is 15 years old and still holds up it, needs a sequel or two.

I'm guessing/hoping it will be as a force ghost like Kenobi. If it is going to be as a clone, then that is a bad sign.

I have two kids who love Star Wars so no way I am getting out of watching it either way.

Pick13: How about a sequel to the MATRIX! The movie is 15 years old and still holds up it, needs a sequel or two.

1. It doesn't hold up that well.
2. It had one sequel with pretty awesome cliff hangers

I'm oddly excited for Jurassic world. Please don't just be CGI crap

Well, if true that GB3 would be women this means that a) it won't be a bunch of old guys running round with proton packs, 2)won't be a reboot so we'd spend the entire time cursing the casting choice for Venkman because you can't replace Bill Murry.

So it could have potential.

the first film will take place 30 years after Return of the Jedi and that Darth Vader might be making a comeback...

God I hope that's just a troll on the fanbois.

BalugaJoe: Boondock Saints 3.

There was never a Boondock Saints 2.

Next you'll be claiming their was an Alien 3.

Don't be stupid.

Okay, I'll be that guy.  Skyfall was terrible.  It made no sense.  Almost every single bit of it was nonsensically complicated or outright idiotic.

Let's review for a second what the villains plan to kill M:

Step 1: Acquire a secret island base for no other reason than because secret island bases are cool.   An office in Hong Kong simply isn't enough
Step 2: At some undetermined time, place explosives in random spots in the London tube system.  (this will be important later)
Step 3: Steal the plot of Mission Impossible 1 to undermine M.
Step 4: At some undetermined time, hire a bunch of guys with machine guns and helicopters.  Station them in Scotland.  (This will be important later)
Step 5: Penetrate the security of one of the most secure buildings in the world and plant a bomb.  Make sure not to accidentally kill M with it though... even though killing M is the plan.
Step 6:  Hire an assassin to get killed trying to kill a hot girl so that Bond will inevitably want to bone the girl, follow her to your secret lair and fall into your trap.
Step 7:  Kill the girl
Step 8: Get captured so that your computer can upload it's virus to MI-6s mainframe, because they don't have any network security at all
Step 9: Use bombs planted in step 2 to escape pursuit by Bond
Step 10: Attempt to shoot M in a public meeting by pretending to be cops
Step 11: Use people hired in Step 4.

Holy Frak!  How do people think that's a good movie?  What if Bond had seen another hot girl first?  What if the train in the subway was late and your bombs did nothing? What if Bond wasn't a narcissistic dick and called his friends in the SAS to shoot down your Step 4 goons?  What if bond wasn't completely incompetent and stopped the MI:1 plot in the opening act?

Why not just proceed to Step 10?

A sequel to that crap can't be any better.  After all, this steaming pile of crap was the sequel to a movie in which the evil plot was to corner the market on bottled water.

Last Bond movie put me to sleep, so not jumping at Bond 24.
Alan Partridge 2?  Didn't see Alan Partridge 1, so no chomping at the bit there.
Star Wars VII?  Considering the sh*t fest Abrams left us with Star Trek reboot, I'm looking on in contempt.
Jurassic Park movie?  Meh.  If it's the same old tired dino theme park, the dinos get loose. chomp chomp chomp schtick then I'll wait for it to show up OnDemand.
Next Avengers movie?  If it's anything like Iron Man 3 then I just as soon gouge my eyes out.

Thank you. I watched it on DVD a while after it came out. I was very much looking forward to it considering its reception. I was floored by how awful it was. It's rare that, while watching a movie, I find my self aghast at the number of obvious plot wholes.

Star Trek into Darkness was the same.

Especially if they cast really attractive women, and there's a scene where they get slimed while naked, because I am brain-damaged.

They'd probably be closer with just a Top 5.

It doesn't have to be the same characters. It could be a franchise of the original company, or people who inherited/bought the original. Consider the team of Melissa McCarthy, Jessica Williams, and Michelle Yeoh.

Vader will be in the new SW during a flash back scene...Carrie Fisher's daughter is playing the princess when she was younger...Hence a scene with Vader....Book it.

I assume TFA doesn't know what it's talking about.  There's been no mention of James Earl Jones anywhere around SW, and I'd never heard anything about Vader before that.

Finding Dory? Meh, okay.

But Incredibles 2 should have been the Pixar sequel that made that list.

I didn't think the Alan Partridge movie was good enough for a sequel. It was funny but it dragged in some places.

Finding Dory will probably be adorable and hilarious. I'm very much looking forward to this.

However, I can't emphasize enough how right you are about the need for an Incredibles 2...! It just seems obvious to do it.

That's why it's in pre-production now. Incredibles 2 was announced a couple months ago at the D23 Disney convention.

As a fan of the movie, yes. That is by far its worst feature.

LucasFilm still exists.   Other entities did get dissolved like LucasArts and such.

Out of about 1000 that will be released between now and the first hard freeze.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop isn't half bad when you're sleep-deprived and slightly oxygen-deprived at 37,000 feet.
