OK, My family owned two of the longest running family operated general stores in the USA. One was in Orbisonia.
I stopped in one day and me distant cousins were behind the counter, and they didn't recognize me. I asked them why the town was named Orbisonia. they didn't know. I told them it was named after Roy Obison. Like Jim Thorpe, PA. They believed me. Anyway, if you are driving through that way this summer, be advised the road is under construction and the creemee stand is open with a shade tent and a huge fan to keep you cool.
