Thunderjeopardy?

A single tie breaker question? Meh.

Dueling sabers? Because I really want it to be dueling sabers.

I'd always put my money on the tiny Asians for the win

That was lame as f*ck. If they can't run another show as a tie breaker then they should repeat final jeopardy until someone wins, not jump back into "grab your signalling device" mode.

MaudlinMutantMollusk: Thunderjeopardy?

cdn.hark.com
"Listen all! This is the truth of it. Quizzing leads to killing, and killing gets to warring. And that was damn near the death of us all. Look at us now! Busted up, and everyone talking about hard rain for $200! But we've learned, by the dust of them all... Jeopardy's learned. Now, when men get to the Daily Double, it happens here! And it finishes here! Two men enter; one man leaves."

They get to keep all that money even if they lose?

Put me on Jeapardy. I can't spell it, but I can damn sure win $10,000.

Only apparently on this tournament, maybe only on teen tournament.  You get bumped down to $1000 for 3rd place and $2000 for 2nd normally I think.

Wow, that really did suck. If I was in that spot I'd be too dazed to buzz in.

No you wouldn't.

When a quiz game gets that hot and heavy, you almost don't want to wait for the questions to finish.

I would not be surprised if this were a little bit edited. They probably had to quickly explain the situation to the two kids ...also, they had to show it quickly due to the loss of show time. In the end it looks a bit anticlimactic, but I'm guessing they had no choice.

I thought that changed recently.  One of my friends got 2nd and took home more than 2k.  But maybe part of it was reimbursement for travel.  Will have to ask him.

Two answers enter, one question leaves.

As soon as the asian guy knows he got the question right, he also realizes it's going to be a tie. He had plenty of time to get his brain together.

Yeah, he has the audacity to properly pronounce things and speak the word in it's native language. How does he get away with such reasonable consideration for others?

He isn't ignorant?

Fark that, should have been a duel. Rock, paper, scissors, lizard, Spock. Who could hold their arm up against a lit cigarette the longest.

Better yet, a tie ends in THUNDERDOME!!!

They could even get to check out some choice boobies while they were fighting to the death.

The procedure wasn't exactly what I expected, but I figured it would be some variation of "tie goes to the Asian."
