All that did was remind me how painful and utterly soul-killing it could be to be in a room full of aspiring child actors.

GAAAAHHHHH!

I had to give a hand to those kids who realized that this was a mechanized form of writing that could exist for hundreds of years with no power.

Ink ribbons are your own responsibility.

These farking videos are goddamn stupid. The people who made them need to learn what a farking buggy whip is(The hard way...). Not only are these things predictable, it's kind of insulting to the kids. 'Look they're too stupid to figure out a rotary phone!!', and so on...

It really is just skin-crawlingly creepy to watch kids desperately, crudely replicating hoo-mon emotion. I hate to think what the parents and/or owners do to make them the way they are.

You really think that kids need to be fed a script to act weirded out by a typewriter?

You don't hang around kids, do you.

We laugh when old people can't figure out new technology, but then laugh when young people can't figure out old technology.

I think these videos are cute.  Then again I have kids and I actually love them.  Go figure.

I'm a parent who likes actual human kids. These little actorly abominations don't count.
