...and then proceeds to do something totally undeserving of the phrase. Still pretty cool, though.

Isn't that like hunting while sitting in your truck?

That thing is worth at least $1000. At $25/lb, it would be over $2k.

NSFW language.  Also there is nothing more exciting than watching someone fish.

Sort of. At retail - sushi bar level, quality tuna sells $100-500/lb. Wholesalers buy it from fisherman for $15-25/lb.

If I had a choice between Kate Upton falling madly and inexplicably in love with me or unlimited supply of tuna steaks,   I'd have to do some real soul searching.

Those are just run-of-the-mill douchebags. An actual redneck would have grappled Charlie ashore without the hook.

im hoping that's why their cheers were so boisterous, they knew it was worth some dough.  otherwise, the thrill of that victory should never have been that uproarious.

It's highly likely that that tuna, a deep water fish, has some kind of illness/sickness that causes it to be in shallow water.

I wouldn't eat the damn thing.

I was gonna say .. Kate Upton's estimated net worth is $14 million. She can keep you in tuna for a while.

I was thinking the same thing. It's leaving the deep water to go die, they just helped it along. A healthy fish that size would have put up a hell of a lot more fight.

I've caught deep water tuna that were infested with worms.  Soon as we started to clean them - live worms were all throughout the meat.
