I actually wouldn't mind a Howard the Duck movie! I'm also probably in a small minority of people who didn't hate the original either; granted I was a little kid when I first saw it and the Dark Overlord was scary as shiat to me, but I loved the campy humor of the film. And Bill motherfarking Paxton!

??  Bill Paxton wasn't in the 1986 Howard the Duck movie.

I was 16 when HtD was in theaters.  On first viewing, I hated the movie because it wasn't anything like the comics.

But -- just as the original comic-book run  was verrrrrry '70s -- so, too, is the movie verrrrrry '80s.  Over time, I grew to love both for what they are.

I'm just amazed that Disney allowed Howard to appear in a post-credits stinger.  With the historical shiat-fit they'd thrown over him back in the day, I'd figured he was the one Marvel character that we'd never see on film.

I did catch the open cocoon (remembered from Thor 2) but I still don't know who/what the albino in black was, and they showed him twice. Anybody else see him?

A property that looks a lot like Donald Duck isn't a huge deal now that they own both.  I believe that's one of the reasons for the character designs in the first movie were so different.

Howard the Duck is everything all the drooling fanbois think Deadpool is.

That was a Dark Elf from Thor 2. There was also a Chitauri in a tank, too.

IIRC Squirrel Girl idolized Iron Man in the comics -- I'd like to see her get a small shout-out, maybe a chipper adorable Stark intern that has a conversation with Tony at some point. Hang a lampshade on her name or something. But yeah, she unfortunately couldn't really properly exist in the MCU.
