Fano: Glad to see kids experimenting like the good old days

It's refreshing to see them out being adventurous.

SuperT: All I did between ages 10 and 13 was blow shiat up. I can't imagine being a kid in today's zero tolerance police state. boring as shiat.

robohobo: Lulz. Good for them. When I was 13, my buddies and I were making stuff we found in the Anarchist's Cookbook. Good times.

At some point in the 1990s someone decided it was better to fark kids up for the rest of their lives over penny-ante dumbfarkery than to make sure they got past it and contributed something better (typically based in the same instincts). At least half the professionals and academics I know would have been farked if their occasional mostly-harmless arson, assault, trespass, theft, drug use, vandalism, etc, had been treated as major crime.

/a 25 pound smoke 'bomb' lit in the middle of the street is good times. That thing burned for a good while.

I'm actually kind of impressed. Most of the children I know between those ages can't even make kool-aid, let alone a bomb.

violentsalvation: BadReligion: The Stealth Hippopotamus: Check the honors programs. It is a little beyond most public school kids

I would think most kids would know pressurized canisters can explode when exposed to extreme heat. In fact, it says so right on the can. Some bored 13 year old was probably reading his can of Axe while taking a dump.

We all do that, don't we?

"Whelp, this is taking a little longer than expected. No periodicals in sight... I wonder what this CVS brand daily moisture lotion is made out of, water, mineral oil, glycerin, caprylic / capric trigliceride ok what the f*ck is that, dammit the computer is out THERE, hurry up dump. stearic acid wtf again I'm going to remember these words and google them just as soon as I'm out of here. *wipe wipe* *flush* *wait* *flush again* *carefully send more water in to a mark a new high tide* PSHEW GLUG GLUG *flush remnants* "

And as soon as you set foot outside the door you forget every ingredient you ever read. Seemed pressing at the time, under the circumstances, I suppose.

The advent of smart phones has thankfully made sure I haven't been without reading material on the crapper since 2003.
