(Can't photoshop well) :: stylized flying saucer covered with red-circle-and-line "no" symbol. "Aliens Unwelcome*" (possibly in several languages) along circumference of circle. Small legend along bottom "*Dominant Species Dunbar Number: 150".

The stripes are the average colors of each continent (Eurasia is one continent here) in proportion to their relative sizes, against a field that is the average color of the oceans.

Wow. Well thought out...

I decided I'd do one that was conceptual instead of snarky. I've been playing with these ideas in my artwork for a while now. : )

At the risk of taking a Fark photoshop thread seriously, yours should be winning by a mile, because all the others have too much writing on them. Who has writing on a flag? Saudi Arabia is the only one I can think of.

did you consider puting the brown next to the blue. or separating the continents  with blue inbetween.

Maybe, I did them in order of size because that was easiest, but mixing them up might make for an interesting composition. If I was to put water between any continental areas I'd prefer to have it be a "freshwater" stripe, which exists only on the continents and would be in proportion to the larger "saltwater" field.

Originally, the stripes were flipped, with Eurasia being on the hoist, but I liked this arrangement better.

Here's a new version. The continents are arranged from north to south, with a lighter blue indicating freshwater as a dividing line.

I like it. It's got an elegant simplicity. That said, you should draw some whales and kelp and plankton and fish and whatnot on the water part just to make it obvious.

/And maybe a walrus.
//They could all be seated around an underwater conference table, like in that one movie.

I'd salute that. A well thought out and implemented concept there, theorellior.

I wish to contribute to your election campaign, church, and/or self service BBQ restaurant.

I agree, that is really cool, but it doesn't account for continental drift or climate change. We'd have to update the flag every few million years. Not to say it couldn't be a smart-flag that updated itself based on current conditions. Hm. That's an idea.

Incorporate the pulsar sybmol from Voyagar 1's gold record onto it and it would be perfect.
