Good luck getting any of your convictions to stick now.

Every single person of color she has convicted is filing an appeal right now. Nice work, dimwit racist judge.

Classy.

Do these racist morans realize Obama is still the legally elected President of the United States?

I'm not sure they understand this concept at all.

I live in this woman's district. I have no idea how many dicks she sucks because there's no other way she should keep getting re-elected. She's well known here as a racist POS.

And this isn't redneckville. Jefferson County is pretty progressive.

I'm so glad for my Irish ancestry because I'll never be guilty of being uppity while dark.

Seriously, though... what kind of 3rd-world, backward-ass country are we living in when a judge can do this and not be arrested? Why is her ass not in a cell, awaiting trial?

On the one hand, don't wear political statements to court, on the other hand WTF, HOW HAS SHE NOT BEEN REMOVED??????

Kentucky.....sigh.  Sad thing is that most of the people who've kept her in that position probably agree with her.

Legally speaking, Kentucky is not part of the United States.

what the fark was that?  how can someone so fark ignorant even function, never mind pass the bar or whatever qualifies you for judgeship tardsville, kentucky?  are they still electing judges?

While I am not defending the judge, wearing a tee-shirt in court shows zero respect for the court.

2014-08-01 07:00:47 PM
I once worked with a liberal black judge who declared similar things. Shortly after he threatened his fellow judges for not re-electing him as chief judge, he was removed from the bench by the Chief Justice if a certain state Supreme Court.

\true story

I generally prefer my judges impartial, non-partisan, and concerned only with the objective interpretation of the the law as it specifically pertains to the matter currently before their court, but I guess I'm just old-fashioned like that.

that's pre-9/11 obama thinking

2014-08-01 07:03:25 PM
Wearing a t-shirt to court at all will get you in a world of shiat with most judges, but this one seems to have let her emotions get the better of her and let a little too much honesty out in the process of chewing him out over it.

It's so funny when they get pissed off enough to reveal what shiatheels they really are.

2014-08-01 07:03:56 PM

Panty Sniffer: While I am not defending the judge, wearing a tee-shirt in court shows zero respect for the court.

So the defendant should respect that judge?

How about we stop this bullshiat that the person in shackles has to respect the people who put them there. Regardless of the situation or circumstance.

2014-08-01 07:04:45 PM
I REALLY don't see another term in her future.

Maybe she should aim for 'Personal Injury Attorney' or some other sleazy legal profession.

I generally don't agree with obama, but she was being genuinely stupid there. Sad part is

she's probably that stupid when she's not working too.

2014-08-01 07:07:17 PM
As a Canadian, the fact that judges are elected in the United States blows my mind. What's the point of having an independent judiciary if judges are just as vulnerable to popular politics whims as the politicians whose decisions they are supposed to scrutinize?

What part of illegally elected Kenyan do you not understand? Between his ineligibility and all the illegal immigrants who voted for him using white people's identities, he's the least legitimate "president" since Rutherfraud B. Hayes.

/This is what teabaggers actually believe

2014-08-01 07:09:42 PM
as if that's all she's done.  she's a general piece of shiat that shouldn't be on the bench.  not very judge like to assume defendents are guilty before they walk into the courtroom.

For example, last October, McLaughlin accused defendant Wesley Taylor of being "up here selling dope to little children." That assertion - made during Taylor's arraignment on a drug possession charge - was false; he was not accused of selling drugs to anyone.

In at least four other cases, McLaughlin denied defendants the right to a public defender.

This does surprise me coming out of Louisville.

Louisville being pretty different from the rest of the state and such.

Rozotorical: So the defendant should respect that judge?

If he wants to avoid getting chewed out or being jailed for contempt of court he better respect the judge.  It is only common sense and in his interest to do so.  Again.  I am not defending the judge.  Other things not to do in court is screwing around with your cell phone, showing up drunk, wearing shorts, sandals, and tee-shirts.  Really.  You just do not do that.

Shut up, hoser, that's what the point is. If we want Canada's opinion on something, we'll send a bunch of draft dodgers up there to get it. Go kiss the Queen's butt and be quiet around a REAL free country.

A guy I once did some business with and who tried to con me out of my house - and who bragged about the fact that he doesn't let his wife get a driver's license, and that he beats her - was the only person who even tried to run for state senator on the democrat ticket.  He lost in general, fortunately...

...which is to say, has anyone run against her?

The difference is they actually have black people to be racist towards.

Really?  Because my experience has been that Louisville is downright PROGRESSIVE compared to the rest of that awful state.

Part of me thinks it was stupid and slightly disrespectful to wear a t-shirt to court.  The other half wonders what the judge's reaction would have been if the t-shirt had been of  'Merican flag or some other jingoistic crap.

Aw fark it, the woman is a racist.

ginandbacon: On the one hand, don't wear political statements to court, on the other hand WTF, HOW HAS SHE NOT BEEN REMOVED??????

Kinda this. She has basically admitted to using her bench to punish someone for their political believes. At a bare minimum she should be disbarred. I would also imagine she should be looking at an investigation for Judicial Misconduct.

2014-08-01 07:18:32 PM
Ok, I'm not saying she's not a piece of shiat, but was that just a bail hearing?  I thought I heard her say five grand, and more than once she said it was because of the cruelty to animals thing.  I could be totally wrong, and I repeat, she sucks.

And I agree about elected judges, though I'm not a huge fan of politically appointed ones either.  Maybe gladiator style combat.

For all the T-shirt comments, the guy may not have had a lot of options, may not have owned what we'd consider court apparel.  Just sayin' it's possible.

Keep talking like that, and we might not buy your crappy, F35 so called fighter jets. A fighter so bad, intelligent people in Canada are even suggesting an updated Avro Arrow would be a better choice.

So llong as we can make it retroactive.  I'd love to see RBG lay the hurt on Scalia.

If there's one thing we won't tolerate, its the administration of government power with a political bias.
