I actually forgot to breathe the first time I saw that.

The Boston Children's Museum has been doing this for a while: o sting-a-second-adults-only-night-this-summer/

My husband and I went to one in early summer, and it was a blast!  They were selling beer and wine, and you could play with all the exhibits without having to elbow any kidlets out of the way.  Then they gave us complimentary ice cream as we left.

I can only hope more places start doing stuff like this.

Amelia Earhart most likely had a flat, sad little white-girl-standard ass, but this is the kind of historical revisionism I can get behind.

Damn... If I'd seen this sooner I'd be there tonight.

Sounds like they'll be scheduling more.

If I weren't away, and it wasn't $375 a person, I'd be doing this tonight.

I have sleep apnea and terrible night gas. I would eat four bowls of onion chili and clear out a whole corner of the room, easy.

Wow, this looks really cool. I might have to check --

The adult program also is much pricier than the children's sleepovers: The tab is $375 per person

Hahahahahaha no

When I was a kid I got to spend the night at the Ft. Worth Museum of Natural History as a part of my GT class. It was, hands down, the coolest sleep over ever. Once the chaperones went to sleep, a group of us wandered around the spooky, dark museum and acted like we were walking through a Bond Villain's lair. We got to play around in the exhibits (no, we didn't break or even try to break anything, we were good kids) and walk around behind the scenes, so to speak. It was so much fun. I'd totally do that again, even as an adult.
