GOP Led Congress 2014: "It was the least we could do... that's why we did it"

I saw something the other day (not sure if it went green) that said this Congress isn't even naming post offices at the same levels as other do-nothing Congresses.

Hey, that can won't kick itself!

Well to be fair they've been awfully busy making sure that the President isn't able to accomplish anything, either.  It's hard work enforcing no government!

And the term "pension smoothing" goes completely unexplained in this bullshiat piece. A better term would be "pension shortchanging." It allows companies to reduce their pension contributions, which have been raised because interest rates are low. It is another piece of Republican fiscal f*ckery that's explained in this NYT op-ed piece from a couple weeks ago.

Don't forget the effort in demanding unilateral action by the President to do the things they are supposed to do and the organizing a lawsuit against the President for taking unilateral action that they had demanded.

zackthebass: Relevant

Yeah, if by "relevant" you mean the GOP is f*cking brain dead. The country's infrastructure -- streets, highways, bridges, sewer and water lines -- is badly in need of major work and the teabaggers are busy making sure that no tax increase passes, even if their sleight of hand reduces the government's income 10 years down the road.
