Ate him!?   Well then, no point in asking if he'll go away, it's quite apparent he's going to stay.

The Inupiat have a word for a three-tusked walrus: Tulugiagruaq.

Which loosely translates to "Stupid reporter will believe anything, tell him gullible is not in the dictionary then have him smoke this bit of belly button lint after telling him that it is our holy sacrament and an sacred honor for us to bestow on guests."

Actually their tests are worse.  Imagine eating whale blubber dipped in rancid seal oil.  That was their starter test.

I know it sounds odd but it's better to hunt Walrus in Alabama ,,, the tusk are looser.

Fun Skyrim fact: While Horker Meat (and the cooked version, Horker Loaf) is absolutely horrible on a weight/healing ratio, Horker Stew is probably the second best food item in the game (the best being Elsweyr Fondue).  (You also need Lavender, Tomato, and Garlic to make it.)  Homecooked Meals are good too, but you need to have your wife/husband cook one for you, and they frequently stop doing so after being married for a short period of time due to Skyrim being a giant pile of bugs.

Wait. There's a picture right there, so the animal is probably real. Why shouldn't they have a word for it?

Since they're hungry enough to eat walrus in the first place, I'm going to guess no.

Okay, maybe walrus is the most delicious food ever, but I doubt it.

Walruses are one of the Inuit food sources.  Should they spare it just because it has a freak genetic mutation?  "Sorry kids, no dinner today: The walrus we found was a special snowflake"

But somehow it's such a fun pile of bugs that it's worth the trouble.

TL,DR: It's "rare" because it's a normal walrus with a dental deformity. It's not "rare" because it rode in on the back of a unicorn, lives to be 1,000 years old, and only reproduces by farking a phoenix. This isn't really THAT amazing of a story.

Ah...got it. Thanks. I have an Inuit acquaintance from out on the coast NW of Nome. He'd be happily chowing down on that critter. No "ah the pretty furry animals" for him. Nope. Animals are for eatin'. He does steer clear of the firewater, though.

No, that would just be giving away a good source of meat to someone else.
It's not like it's a new species it's just a birth defect.

Nothing quite so tasty as a hunk of Walrus gut stuffed with tundra grass, wrapped in dried penguin dung and stuffed up the ass of a polar bear for 30 days.
The hero party for the stuffers and extractors is quite the event, too.
Gotta love fermented whale eyes.
