SlothB77: The Palestinians want a state.  I get that.  But exactly how does their foiled plot to sneak into Israel through those tunnels and murder a bunch of Israeli civilians on Rosh Hashanah advance that agenda?  How does that terror attack help them get their own state?

They must just be idiots because the fact that what the Israelis say they were planning to do makes no sense couldn't possibly mean that the whole plot is made up propaganda.

The Stealth Hippopotamus: I was really hopeful that was a euphemism.

Believe it or not, many of my fellow servicemen, shipped to the area to blow up the locals and whatnot also took advantage of the retail opportunities.  Gold jewelry, rugs, tailored suits, definitely-not-Cuban cigars, stuff like that.  The world kept spinning somehow.
